A quick mash up of some of my favourites scenes from Gallipoli the 2015 TV Series. This is just to shed some light on Aussie TV.

All credit goes to @RedMoonArcade where you can find the original footage. Cheers btw. I put this over my mate rapping just for sh*ts and gigs. Please don't sue me, I am merely a broke uni student.
English upper class snobs
Thanks to Mr. Churchill. How brilliant.
In the end they're just human, the corruption from the high command that brings such destruction
Their were no cowards in trench warfare
I like the show but the three way love story between the main character and his brother is really stupid (and messed up). That girl is not worth their trouble. For crying out loud, she shows interest in the young 17 year old when she is marrying his brother. What a great wife she is going to make! Wish the 17 year old kid would realise she isn't worth the time. That's the type of girl who is gonna cheat on you, man.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
the rich send the working class to fight each other
This was a war, our grandparents were pulled into without their will. Let us never make the same mistakes again. Soldiers used as pawns for the greeds of monarchs and barons. As a Turk I send my respects to the brave Turkish and ANZAC soldiers.
The biggest mistake that the ANZACs made was trusting Churchill.
Bastard Churchill.
Best 11:11 ATATÜRK❤
Tbh this is my favourite war movie / tv show
Gallipoli The ambition of Churchill, sure he was not in the trenches, nor his relatives.
But?....
Emperyalistlerin kuklalarına hiç saygı duymuyorum,ne işleri vardı Çanakkale'de,neymiş dersimizi vermeye gelmişler.
1:25 - 2:50 , boys will be boys
2:11 He is saying Vurayım şunları (Lemme shoot em')
In 2:02 . The turkish soldier says İyi ateş gardaş! (Good shot bro)
Here's a fact about the Gallipoli campaign there was a man who invented a new type of way to use a rifle a not Shure what army but a soldier named Lance corporal William beach he invest the paroscop rifle
the second scene with General Birdwood and Cliffy always makes me laugh, he is such a larrikan 😂 he was one of. my fave charachters

Letter from Atatürk to Anzacs family. “Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives …You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side in this country of ours. You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries, wipe away your tears. Your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well.” A response by an Anzac’s mother to Atatürk’s words: “The warmth of your words eased our sorrow for our sons who vanished in Gallipoli, and our tears ended. Your words are a consolation to me as a mother. Now we are sure that our sons rest in peace in their eternal rest. If your Excellency accepts, we would like to call you ‘Ata’, too. Because what you have said at the graves of our sons could only be said by their own fathers. In the name of all mothers, our respects to the Great Ata who embraced our children with the love of a father.” That's why, when we go to Gallipoli, we also pray for the Anzac soldiers who died. The last time we went, I prayed for both Turkish soldiers and Anzac soldiers. This was the greatest gentlemen's war the world has ever seen. We Turks call this war the Battle of Çanakkale, but we also call it the "Gentlemen's War".
theirs not much else to say as an Aussie other than for allowing us to celebrate every year the soldiers who lost their lives here. thanks
Lmao I love the interaction between the two sides holding up their shovels for target practice
Guys of 17years old, dying for our freedom so we can live in a gender neutral world 😂
Any and every chance you get to complain about woke people, aye?
@@BraveGisgo yep 👍👍

Why anzac come our lands? Is our problem? Heros only defend. This is an propaganda film but really good for accurate... Turk Çanakkale films are better.
They didn't choose to come 😂😂 it was British empire

Same bro
Çanakkale is impassable! 🇹🇷
Kardesim yorumlarda avustralyalılara dusmanca davranman hoş olmamış. İngilizlerle onları bir tutma onlar canakkaleye kandırılarak getirilen cocuklar sadece ve türklere derin saygıları var. Ok
Australian And New Zealand people are slaves of the British Empire. They died for nothing.
There is now a high level of respect between both countries, the Gallipoli campaign led to the rise of General Attaturk and the fall of the Ottoman Empire, leading to Turkey becoming an independent country. Pilgrimage to Gallipoli by young Australians is now seen as a right of passage.
Yeah as a Turk its a real shame situation for us. We shouldn't respect the enemies.
@@muharebe_istasyonu It was over 100 years ago and Attaturk eventually visited Australia as an honoured guest and gave a stirring speech, saying the bodies of the slain Australians who were buried there were now sons of Turkey. There has only been some small disrespect recently, due to Erdogan's belligerent attitude and his attempts to make Turkey a stricter Islamic nation instead of being moderate. Perhaps you should read a little more history, go for a walk around the block, then come back when you are a little more mature. Edit: Better still, travel to Gallipoli in two weeks time and watch the dawn service on 25 April. It honours 3 Nations.

@@muharebe_istasyonu What’s This all about ( you) ?
@@muharebe_istasyonu Why are you trying to make one of the most senseless battles, between two countries who have long since buried their animosity, a point of misguided nationalism? Australian and Turkish soldiers both fought bravely, only to be let down by their commanders. Lions led by sheep, yet you would try and score point for a battle more than a century old in a youtube comment section and dishonour both of our dead. Shame on you

My Grandads uncle was killed up Chunuk Bair and his body was never found. He was with the Auckland Battalion
Sorry to hear that mate, have a similar story myself. My grandpa's uncle was lost at the Somme, he was with the 9th Royal Fusiliers. His name was marked at Theipval for the missing Brits and South Africans.
My grandfather’s father was killed in Conkbayırı too, as a Turkish soldier. Your grandfathers are lying in our bosom and are in peace. Respect from Turkiye

@@Marcus.junius.brutusyea, many nations were fighting for the commonwealth during the second world war, Scotland, Australia, New zealand, Ireland, Canada.
Dont be a liar, we Turks hate our enemies.
@@muharebe_istasyonu we are not your enemies anymore.
@@muharebe_istasyonuguess you have never been never been on a frontline just by that statement, Gallipoli campaign was fought by solider on both sides yes the allies lost and Turks won but both side would have had a lot of respect for each other since they where losing their lives for reasons most didn’t understand but both side done their duty and gave everything
The assault upon Chunuk Bair failed because unlike the Turks, the other columns that were supposed to support Malone got lost and the Turkish supports didn't. The Turks had a manpower advantage at the critical time and place, as so often during the Gallipoli battles.
Manpower advantage on the Ottoman side? Bullshit
at that battle all heros were from ottoman side for sure.
Heroes? Thousands of young men killed. Wereld was the heroism?
