Thanks for your comment. Katra is just 2 hours (45kms) drive from Jammu. You can check my previous video once to understand the route.

Taxi fare varies on the vehicle type you prefer and the number of persons travelling. It will be available at the railway station.
I would suggest you to visit there and book offline as there could be chances of bargaining as well
