Let me tell you in my first gameplay, I got Josh killed due to me not finding the diary, now I made Josh a Wendigo, which I'll post next, I know there is one more ending where Josh is alive in the end as a cliffhanger.

So, the recorder apparently did not record some parts at all in the story, so we won't see Mike and Jessica's cottage scene, and in future storylines, the Sam chase scene and Mike exploring the asylum has not been recorded, I'm as pissed as you are :(

Yeah, deeply inspired by it. I think and honestly would have been a great backstory for Batman. It would have made the 2 of them more than just you, but evil, it's the other half to a perspective you as batman has lived through.
