Many thanks to St Peter's Church for accommodating us so quickly. Thanks to vicar Anne for a lovely service; vergers Tricia and Peter for managing so well; and to organist David in meeting a specific wish of the bride for some music from Star Wars during the Signing of the Register. Needless to say the bride was not aware that her wish would actually be fulfilled.

Simon shared a love of racing with my father John. I knew him as a child as and remember him as a kind, gentle gentleman. Condolences to all the family.
Thank you. I can't picture you right now but I most certainly remember the larger than life John Rimmer at the races and I expect many other of the local haunts. I expect your dear Aunt Sheila didn't always want him at York Cottage when he was on a roll - she had David to manage after all. But us Marshes will always remember the Rimmers - and also of course Belinda and Alastair, among our closest childhood friends. Love to you all.

Whilst I was there for the service, it sometimes offers fresh insight and new thinking when able to listen again. Thank you.
Many thanks for playing the Bach Toccata and Fugue in D Minor BWV 565 as the voluntary today. As you know, I was very happy to sponsor it in aid of our Uganda Project and was not disappointed. Despite only two manuals and the tracker action, the registration was perfect and enjoyed by about 90% of the congregation who stayed to listen, somewhat of a record number. Clearly their appreciation pleased me and surely yourself. Several parishioners spoke to me later and asked was this a new fundraiser and might they make requests? Well done, thank you.

Really pleased that Pat Smith, 91 years young, was able to watch this service live. Pat sends her best wishes to all her friends at St Peter's following her move, to be near her daughter, last year. We are all so fortunate at St Peter's to be able to access, via streaming, our church parish eucharist for spiritual nourishment at this difficult time and, of course, offer it to our friends across the world.
