Thanks for the kind words. Honestly i have not tried this on the cut page so i will honestly say i am not sure. But please let me know if you try it out and it works.
Is it possible to send a Usable DR P file From DR19.0 back to a DR18.5 Machine? i.e. How do I copy the clips and put them into 18.5 from 19.0? any way to change the data so the drp file opens and works in 18.5 I CHANGED NOTHING IN 19.0?

yeah it's great, but it all breaks when you upload it to any social media platform like instagram or youtube. Question is, do you know the recommended bitrate for each platform?
This techniques is mostly for Hi-end projects though. With smaller projects, you can just use the automatic default settings

Hey, thanks for this tutorial. What do you think about using a glow node instead of this 3? I feel like it’s easier to control the outcome with that and has a very similar effect.
Thanks for watching. A glow node also can give you similar results too. It also depends on the scene you working on too. Glow might work better for some and vice versa.
Use soft light blend mode and then add a matte to affect only the highlights and this is a much cleaner technique

Thanks, I combined both tecniques (first node screen, then in other node add soflight and add matte) and it works so fine

Can also use softlight as the blend mode and you won't have to correct the over exposure of screen mode as much. Nice video!

I'm a beginner, no previous video editing experience in other programs, a veritable video editing virgin. I've watched several Davinci Resolve tutorials over the last couple of days, I'm trying edit something that is probably a bit too ambitious for a first attempt, with in-&-outs of split screens synchronised with a soundtrack, your tutorial here has been the most helpful right now. What is the use of the flip button (horizontal and vertical) in the bottom part of the same segment ?
The flip botton also does virtually the same thing and that is the beauty of using DaVinci. You can achieve the same result using different ways. Thanks for pointing that out
