We just got off of Serenade which like Brilliance is a Radiance class ship. That Windjammer set up may be the best in the fleet. Your observations of the pools and pool deck is valid for most of the ships we have sailed. Sunny warm weather sea days are make the pools look more like people soup than a place to swim. Still, I was able to do laps early in the morning before the crowds got thicker. As for Radiance and Radiance class ships, having only 2800 passengers as compared to double that on Symphony will create a more relaxed feel. We address some of these issues in a soon to be published "Our Likes and Dislikes of Radiance of the Seas." It may be helpful to dissuade some anxiousness you may be having. Hi @shareebysea - Hideaway beach was beautiful and had some great additional features! With that said, we will mix it up and sometimes spend the money for the experience and other times use our favorite areas on the rest of the Island such as South Beach. The Cabanas are nice but very expensive. The good thing is that it's a price per cabana so if you are traveling with 8 people then you can split it 8 ways. There are also other benefits such as your own personal attendant. Still, there is plenty to do around Hideaway and also the larger CocoCay island! As always, thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi Lisa and thanks for your comment. We typically tip the tram drivers but there are cases that we may not have such as a quick on and off trip. Honestly, the more we travel the more we find ourselves tipping. We are grateful for the hard work many do to ensure a good and smooth experience for us and the other travelers. Hi James! Glad you enjoyed the video. We did hear a bit of sound one day but not for long. Ironically, when we spent a night in the balcony room, we heard more noise. (That is a story for another time) Ultimately, we feel that a noisy neighbor can be heard no matter if it's an adjoining cabin or not.

Hi there! Glad you found the video helpful. We were gone from the ship about 10.5 hours total, which includes travel time. Lunch was included in the tour and then we had about 1.5 to 2 hours of free time. There were a lot of people and the lines may be long, so factor that in. Hope this is helpful information.

The aft balcony cabins are truly spectacular. We had one on the Empress of the Seas in 2020 right before the pandemic shutdown. Hello! I’ve found that being able to mix and match is great. Also, have items to layer is good. I start checking the weather about 7-10 days before we leave. It’s not perfect but gives me a general idea of what to expect. If it’s a Caribbean cruise it should be warm but be sure to bring a sweater and/or a sweater. And, have fun!!

Sorry .. I keep thinking of things ! But do you ever where an outfit twice just to save space ?

Hi there. I will typically re-wear a top with a different bottom or a different top with a bottom I’ve already worn. That’s why I like to bring things that I can mix and match. I find that when cruising I change my clothes a lot so an item might only be worn for a few hours and can be reworn another time.

Packing light is something I’m working to improve. I do only allow myself one suitcase and one smaller bag but my suitcase is generally pretty full. When packing for our next cruise I am going to try a new technique so stay tuned for that. 😎

@PovertytoParadise, hello! It was quite the luxurious experience for us! We've done back to back cruises, but never side to side. We'll be sailing on Grandeur in a couple of months and excited to see what we think of that smaller ship. Honestly, each ship has it's own vibe.
