Thanks for the video. Following this I changed the sensor cables on my R50.

I have an r53 cooper s. I had the same code showing. When i start the car up the check engine and also traction control light come on. I had the sensor replaced and it hasnt fixed the problem. On ocasion the car will start up without any lights showing and drive 100% every other time it feels rough to drive and miss fires sometimes. Any ideas? Thanks

Just one extra detail I found the hard way on a 2007 Cooper S, you have to do the button pressing thing on ALL the keys before putting any one of them in the ignition & turning it on to save the settings. Otherwise every time you do one key it un-does the other(s).

In the US here, I was SO confused about my right tie rod(passenger side) had this little collar and was a completely different design than the left(driver side) and when trying to do a quick eyeball alignment I could NOT get that collar off. I’ll let my techs at work do my alignment and mess with it😂

You didn’t have to pay for special ‘impound or compound’ insurance? This is a legal requirement, apparently. Just my info, we’re doing this now. They seem to want my daughter, the registered keeper-owner (no really, they fudge the distinction!), to travel 150 miles to do the 5-yard drive out of the compound.
