The ‘incarnate word’is what I call the ‘divine will. ‘ The divine will is operating in all of us to a certain extent, and we must have a deep reverence for the work in God in every human being. It is a struggle for the human will to die in the divine will to arise. Jesus told Louisa Picarreta “the human will is always night for the soul, “ while the divine will is “sun.” The more we live in the Divine will the more the rays of the sun extend to the whole world, and slowly the divine will will overtake the chaos and reign. Also i’m intrigued by the way you present this concept that mercy leads to liberation. For ongoing relationships, Something else must be present in the equation …perhaps it is detachment (as well as forgiveness), or changing expectations. Very thought provoking.

I like the see saw imagery. Maybe Mary can be like a mom in the natural and hold on to us while we are somewhat fearfully on the up and down ride. The Holy Face devotion is supposed to be very important for our times and so the humanity of Jesus that you speak of is key. Only our God has a face, and a face is personal and a face is present. Interestingly, your use of the word dynamic comes from the Greek word dynamus or dunamis which I understand is present in the Bible quite a bit, in reference to the power of God, and also potential and excellence. Its where we get our word dynamite.

Warren, this is my favorite video thus far. So true about the false idols and the disordered affections. Jesus talked to Louisa Picaretta about this quite a bit. our happiness can only be found when we let go of our human will, and embrace God‘s divine will. Loved your comment on the need to share our hearts. His heart is pierced because we don’t learn to let him love us. But when we seek to know him, our faith grows and his consoling presence in our life grows. It is a beautiful process of grace. Also I think adoration is a big help here. Persevering, seeking In every way, approved by the Catholic Church, and staying faithful to our daily prayer life does Bear fruit.

Excellent discourse connecting the dots. Once you are convinced that the Catholic faith is trustworthy, there is no need to recreate the philosophical wheel. I am a proponent of Pentecostal influences because I believe that God does want to reveal Himself to us, And an encounter or born again experience really seals the deal on many levels. John 17:3 " To know him"refer refers to an intimate and personal knowledge. Miracles do help esp if they are resulting in widespread conversions, as seems to be happening in medjugorie.

I think this line of argumentation is an interesting way to perhaps define why Christian scripture could be considered the most transcendental of religious scriptures.. One thing I wonder is if the argument can give legitimacy to the exclusivity claims of Christianity? Or even granting that Christian scripture is the most transcendental, does that equate to it being most true? Just some thoughts I had listening.. Subbed!

One approach is to see our weaknesses as a magnet for mercy and a venue for dependency that God allows for a time for this purpose. We get to be the recipient of his mercy and we learn dependency which leads to love . Over time, our image of God is healed and we can rest as children who are loved unconditionally. Another thought is the gratitude that comes when we realize that Jesus created a Church with power. He intended for his church to be powerful and spirit filled and a saving place. I’m speaking here of sacraments and indulgences which are purifying and liberating.

Very good information. Short but enlightening. You could go to the next step and discuss how to address our weak human nature in the context of faith….how does God redeem this fallen human nature? How do we balance self discipline with self love and scrupulosity? What is the role of grace? Can human beings change and grow and if so, how? P.s. I have lots of ideas. Also I mentioned once before that to make the video more pleasant for the viewer, you should put your phone down in a pleasant room (like you have in the past) and sit in an armchair and teach. It wouldn’t be hard to create a pedagogical milieu.

Well, I can try to make some videos on those subjects! 😊.... and yes sometimes I just make the video wherever I am and don't necessarily make it look as pleasant and pedagogical looking as I might 😬

Hi, I'm a new Catholic, about to be baptised. I've gone through many, if not all the struggles you brought up in this video. I live in a small parish in a small Australian country town. This was a good video, affirming some of the things I've been thinking, and putting them in a more coherent model. The world is crazy and scary, always nice to see fellow Christians holding fast to their faith, knowing that faith cannot fail. God bless you, in Christ's name, amen.

Hey! I don't think I was really helped by any supplements. I don't take any supplements, and I also avoid medication (of course, people should discuss stopping medication with doctors). For me taking supplements, restricting foods and using supplements sent the message to my brain that something was wrong and I was sick and in danger. By learning principles from Dan Buglio and Tom Loud (although my specific beliefs are a bit different than his) I was able to have much better recovery and remission. I had to learn that fear was the problem and messages of safety was the solution. See the description of the video for links to the kinds of videos that helped me. I tried to paste them below but I'm not sure if it worked. Dan Buglio's Fast Start Playlist • Fast Start Tom Loud's healing videos • Miracles Happen!!!

It is anthropological and necessary to study the thought processes, needs and reactions that are present in all cultures and religions for an understanding of man. Other religions even the different Protestant sects have mastered certain aspects of religion, eg the Buddhists have mastered quieting the mind, the Pentecostals have mastered praise etc. So we can learn from them in experiencing and living out our Catholicism. I think Thomas Merton was interred in this. Could it be that The search for truth involves an integration, not a shunning, of religions other than our own. It’s all very finite. The trouble comes when you have to discern if a certain way of human responding is evil, eg witchcraft

Warren this is Kathleen walker. This it is a wonderful presentation of this topic and I never thought of the dichotomy of open versus focused prayer. I just yesterday learned about the ceaseless act of love, which was a very timely discovery for me and now here you are talking about it just love these coincidences! I have a very active thought life coupled with insomnia, and the hours that I have spent wasting time with useless thoughts was plaguing me so now this concept of only thinking of Jesus as much as is possible, again it’s an act of the will, and he will think of everything else is already bearing fruit . Of course, the idea of living in the divine will involves making your morning act of intention, and then whether conscious or not God can use everything for reparation and glory. As far as going throughout your day when engaged with people if the Holy Spirit reminds you, I like to say to myself “ where is the love in this situation, where is the love here” eg in my response, in my thoughts etc. Your educational presentation will be fruitful as God’s grace increases in us to enable us to put these methods into practice.

Warren, still listening but I remember leaving social work when I was working on an MSW for several reasons, one of which they insisted "choose a model.". This was so counterintuitive to me and caused concern about the profession as a whole.

Enjoy listening to you Warren. A thought - Jesus didn't save us with his thoughts, through his mind. He used his body. Another unrelated comment....important... In recent weeks I have had a profound augmentation of my awareness of little demons and how they harass our minds and cause disruptions in the flow of our physical systems. I am astounded at how tangible these deliverance prayers have been. So regarding alternative spirituality I am quite certain that demons of deception are at work... And once they have that open door they cause myriad problems in our lives. So an understanding of this theology and learning to practice it is essential in our path towards freedom and union with God.

Great ideas! You hit the nail on the head with regard to fixation. According to our fallen human nature (Adamic), we focus on what we fear, some of it is good for survival-if the snakes can kill you you’ll see the snakes everywhere-but it’s also the fruit of a darkened intellect. According to our regenerated nature (Christic), the New Man focuses upward toward the object of love.

Fr celso talks about denying our human will to make room for God's will. Mary lived this. We are in the era of sanctification now and upcoming....a restoration to our original union with God. Scripture says: to be partakers in the divine nature. The Our Father will be realized...His Will on earth at is in heaven....Jesus gave us that prayer almost as a prophecy. First 2000 years belong to the Father and creation, second 2000 years the son and redemption, now the Holy Spirit through Mary and sanctification. First the flood, then the blood, now the fire.

You got it when you said it denatures the human person. It is dehumanizing also in a way as it stifles our "divinization" by preventing the interior process of our decreasing and His increasing.

This is truly an approach of love in that it is one antidote to the problem of division in our time...a folding in of the other instead of their annihilation. It takes holy evangelizing....only the HS can accomplish the task but the concept you present is a worthy one
