This would be so great in a third grade classroom! We practice multiplication all the time and these factors are so reasonable (1-5). Not to mention it also builds number sense. Love, love, love it!
Between sequencing, number sense, and multiplication, this could work really well for that age!
For the number of possible decks, 12 choose 3 is equal to 220. I think you probably did 12 * 11 * 10. But the order that you choose them in doesn’t matter, does it?
Hey there! If you’re ordering your Protocols according to the order you draft them, it does in fact matter. This is because you create three lanes of Protocols against each other, and how they line up could affect gameplay. If you reorder at will after drafting, then you’re correct :). It depends how you play!
This game seems like a better designed version of Mattel's UNO sequel, DOS
Maybe. I like the cooperative nature of this one - and it's great as a solo game, too.

This was a game we play as a kid (called categories ) We kept time by patting our lap trice,clapping our hands trice and popping our fringes trice We took turns making up categories ourself ( play on school bus, birthday party, and ect

hi, the box says 6 players and you said it can support upto 12 players. May we know how?
We created this review with the first printing, which had supplies for 12 players in the box. The current printing only has supplies for 6 players, but there's no reason you can't grab some pencils & paper to add more players. I cannot figure out how the unicorn’s special ability is supposed to work. Add 3 to your die roll during an event?
We interpreted it as an optional +3 to die rolls whenever you draw an event card that needs a die roll (ie. companions and magic items).

We liked The Hunt, but we definitely prefer other 2 player games by Matthias Cramer.
