The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) is a conservation trust fund working to protect the Caucasus wilderness. Our mission is to contribute to the improved management and sustainable development of the Caucasus’ natural and cultural heritage by providing effective long-term funding support to the protected areas of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

This time, instead of meeting with rangers, we will be meeting with the forest monitoring team from the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center SNCO. You will meet Arman Avagyan, the Deputy Director, Atom Grigoryan, the Head of the Forest & Biodiversity Service, and Gevorg Azgadyan, the Head of the GIS & RS Service. These experts will explain the significance of forest monitoring, what monitoring actually means, and highlight how modern technology facilitates this process.
