Dolphins Echolocating at Night
Dolphins use echolocation to find their food at night. These videos were shot from the Dolphin Dream boat. The lights on the boat attracted fish and squid which in turn attracted these wild Atlantic spotted dolphins. www.dolphindreamteam.com/dolphin-dream-bahamas

Foxes Chasing Bobcat-Turn up the volume
Переглядів 161Рік тому
I heard a commotion on my hillside, so I ran inside to grab my iPhone and I was able to catch the tail end of the action on video. This is one bobcat being chased by two foxes.
Gopher, Skunk and Fox
Переглядів 18Рік тому
Interesting animal interactions. A gopher fell into our pool and drowned so we put it up on the hill to see what might be interested. A skunk and a fox were in competition for the prize! By the way, this gopher was not poisoned. We do not use poisons anywhere inside or outside of our house.
Fox 12/11/22

This fox stayed in front of the camera grooming for over 8 minutes. At the very end, we see why he hung out for so long.

can live up to 10 years
These are California Market Squid and they only live for about a year. Here is a NOAA link with more information. www.fisheries.noaa.gov/species/california-market-squid
@@oceanvideosorg I don't think so I have one in my aquarium been living 8 years now
@@tonytran4857 So your squid is a Loligo opalescens? That is pretty cool if it has lived 8 years. Thanks for sharing that information. Animals in captivity can sometimes live longer those in the wild.
I can
so that mean you're Squidward live two more year and that's it, fry that fucker
Fascinating!
great video, no fluff, super informative
你好
Bananas
Very interesting video. May I use this video for my teaching materials? thanks
Yes you may.
Where was this? This is amazing and the water is a pool.
Off the Bahamas.
I really wish the doco had have mentioned the season or dates, rather than say " at certain times of year:
Oceans are dying from overfishing
Flipper is a playaaaa!
He/she is gorgeous!
It identifies as an “it” you bigot
Amazing!!
Thank you for sharing. I had a spinal cord injury and was recovering in Sunland. I loved seeing all wildlife in the hills. The deer in the cemetery, the hawks and the coyote. Most of all the Peacocks are amazing. Please keep sharing.
have been recovering 2 yrs from same injury, would luv to exchange info.?
What a beautiful bobcat
The bobcats are so beautiful. They are my favourite animal.
I'm curious what make/model are your cameras? The footage is so good! Thanks for sharing!
The critter cameras are Browning Strike Force HDProX.
How beautiful and educational! Thank you for sharing. I'm fascinated.
Really cool - I’ve been here in Liberty Canyon almost 20 yrs and have only seen 1 so far which was down by Monte Nido
What a wonderful, educational & awesome video. We all got to see nature at its finest & your narration certainly added to it. Looking forward to more videos from you, Sally. Thanks for your efforts, we all got to see something that most of us will never experience! ♥
Wow awesome. Perhaps the fires in the area have made them change territory?
Wonderful!!! Thank you so much 💓
Thank you! I had no idea we had so many in our area
Fantastic video, Sally! And great narration - very educational.
The intelligence behind of these is GOD. "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard."
COOL
I want to pet a dolphin!
Why do dolphins always look like they are smiling.
I live in a province that is land locked, but what I wouldn’t give to be on the oceans helping them as well
Who wouldn’t want to save another being, that has also shown concern for another being, by saving them, for no other reason than feeling compassion. They are extremely intelligent and only took back to the oceans about 50 million years ago
Talking up a storm, awesome
I love Atlantic Spotted Dolphins!
Espero que o homem jamais se esqueça do olhar doce de uma baleia. Pois , por trás dele existe muita sabedoria, muita paz e muito amor!
Nice video including also a manatee which is not a whale but a wonderful animal too
Yes, it really should be called Eye of the Marine Mammals, but that is not as catchy.
You can tell it was female, because it wasn't trying to hum them.
If it's the same dolphin throughout the video, it actually is a male Atlantic Spotted Dolphin.
For real. I kept waiting for the surprise sausage to pop-out. But I guess those were females or juveniles or both. Check Ozzy Man's 'Dodgy Dolphin' video.

Ohmygod how can we not take care of these beautiful beings, please please stop killing them and all of Gods creations.
I remember a night on Toyon Bay diving with you and a huge school of squid.
I miss those days of being able to walk out our doors into the water on any night that something cool was happening!
@@oceanvideosorg Me too, Sally. I can still jump off of the back of my sailboat and swim over to the reserve at the U.W. Friday Harbor labs, but it's not the same thing. The water is 40 and you just don't have the amount of marine life we did at Toyon. Nothing at all like the sea lion flying fish shows. . Though I did have an orca swim past my boat at the dock last year :)
Omg that looks amazing I wish I could swim with these majestic creatures but is so expensive...
So fucking perfect🥺🤞🏻
boo whales
Thank You! Could you have said it any more Perfectly, "The Ocean is Their World, Their Lifeblood, They Have No Place Else To Go... God Help All of His Creatures! We Must Stop Polluting The Oceans, Please!!! ♡
Wow
Thank you, Sally! Absolutely brilliant! No burst eardrums or pounding chest from their sonar? (Like I've read in other comments...!)
What is the last movie? Is it plastic?
love cetaceans and thank full to have beautiful vids like this of them up close. Look any whale or dolphin in the eye would be a highlight of life; but I may be contributing to voyeurism/ tourist like harassment since so many people want to do this; but a good vid must do.
Really interesting thanks
I suddenly had the urge to find out the life of a squid because i enjoy eating it :D
hey, don't you dare hurt squids
For Lolita and others in captivity. Lolita has been a prisoner for over 45 years. Last I heard Lolita called out to her mother Ocean Sun for many years. Ocean Sun is more than 82 years by now and I don't know if she's still alive. Good people have been trying to free Lolita for quite some time. My own personal opinion, I'm not so sure the ocean is safe for any marine animals anymore because of Fukushima. However, if you want to know more, this is Lolita's heartbreaking story. www.savelolita.org/
