This video kind of destroyed 1/3rd of all of CTC’s arguments (Doug was not aware of the problems on the set of suburban knights) and draws into question the other 2/3rds. Doug is literally on camera with the heads of CA talking about how he’s aware of the problems with production and had enough compassion to give his crew the option to close up shop for the production because he cared enough about them. This is apparently ’abusive’.

It's sad that the spirit of friendship and collaboration they have throughout the better part of this started to slowly die not long after they finished. I always found the work of these producers (the ones I knew) hit or miss, but I could appreciate young people with cameras wanting to explore their interests and experiment with technology, so the honest enthusiasm many had doing this kind of work is tragic when you know it was nearly over.

That joke about Justin being evil didn't age well...

I miss the days when reviewers/UA-camrs like these guys could come together and film something like this. What happened with the "change that shall never be named" was terrible and I hope everyone has moved on to do better things. But man, I wish these guys could be together in a website/community without people like the Walker brothers and that other guy who was in charge (I legit forgot his name, probably for the best) making things harder for them.

It's amazing to me that they thought this would make them look good. The lack of self-awareness is astonishing. Lindsey is effectively talking about how the entire shoot was amateur hour and they decided to keep her comments in this. It's crazy to me how you can fail to read the room to such a degree.

God. What happened to these people? At least on Lewis's part, there seemed to be genuine affection for Walker. Genuine appreciation, or at least a willingness to look past the many flaws to see a person who truly wanted to do his best. And yet, this is the same guy who had no qualms about turning against his fellow reviewers, never defending them, never even trying to get them safe work conditions and proper recognition. This is the same guy who covered up for a sexual predator, who ignored and left his friends in the dust for money. Doug Walker's friends honestly cared about him. But the feeling apparently wasn't mutual. And that's sad as all hell.
