Kawasaki ZH2 Owner’s Review: Q&A Edition
Q: What’s it like owning a Kawasaki ZH2?
A: Imagine riding a rocket that’s been caffeinated. It’s thrilling, terrifying, and definitely not for the faint-hearted!
Q: How powerful is it?
A: Let’s just say when you twist the throttle, you’ll need to sign a waiver… and maybe call your therapist!
Q: What do you love most about it?
A: The looks I get when I park it. People treat me like I’m some sort of motorcycle superhero. “Is that a ZH2? Where’s your cape?”
Q: Any downsides?
A: Yes, my bank account cries every time I fill up. Apparently, being a beast comes with a beastly appetite!
Q: Would you recommend it?
A: Only if you enjoy adrenaline, attention, and the occasional near-miss with the local wildlife. They seem to think it’s a giant, green grasshopper.
Q: What’s the best accessory for it?
A: A good pair of sunglasses. You’ll need them to shield your eyes from all the envy coming your way!
In conclusion, if you’re ready to unleash two beasts on the road, the ZH2 is your ticket to ride. Just remember: with great power comes great responsibility-and maybe a few tickets!

Initial start-up using the Pro-Race Shorty Exhaust is noticeably loud. The video fails to capture its true intensity. The primary criticism of the stock exhaust was its lack of sound. #bmw #bmwr18 #motovlog

Kawasaki Z900RS Factory Exhaust vs Delkevic Catless Header. Put your headphones on!
Beautiful sound!!
Your right, 1200rs is too much. I'm happy with my desert sled (73hp) for my first bike over 125cc. I like the 765rs, especially the new colors. How ever, my dream bike is a Ducati848Evo 2010-2013 tricolore (red/black/white) , but I think triumph 765rs is a dream too!
Get a racefit exhaust, and get your Triple to sing!
Great sound
12k+ bike. Dont cheap out on the one upgrade that’ll help protect your bike. Get the real frame sliders/engine guards etc.

@@ghostrider7411 😂 soon.
Any vibes from grips, pegs?
@@beverleynorth4914 no vibrations in the bars. Pegs are minuscule.
@ thnx ride safe
@ had a test ride on mt09 but not as good as 765. Now need to choose between r and rs. Performance very similar but rs looks better with bar end mirrors and belly pan . Also dash on rs is nicer in mho. Your thoughts??
@ I raced against a 765R and I was pulling ahead easily. The bar end mirrors look cool but it’s not functional. You don’t feel the vibration in the bars but it’s evident in the end mirrors. You can’t see anything. Haha. What you are paying for is the brakes, suspension, power upgrades and the looks. The extra cost is sure worth it.
Did the change cause a code fault?
@@rayizzo7910 Not at all. From factory the bike runs pretty lean. Shortly after I had the DNA air filter and ECU flashed by 2wheeldynoworks.

Sweet Machine - I have exact same sexy! I am fortunate enough to also have a 24 Ninja 1000sx, Just broke in bought used with upgrades and tour pkg for less than new price for just bike. Ride safe, rubber up!
You can also take the spacer out from the top of the shock to lower it a little. It's even on triumph site to lower it.
Hurts steering, then buy a regular “R” instead
Just get a new key chain

@@lateknights1 right!? So ugly. I believe North America has different lights than Europe.

I love how they expose the frame work and drive shaft I’ve just bought a set in black fitting them at the weekend …. ride on from the UK
@@EllisBurton3339 it’s a gorgeous bike.
I own same bike in Red - love it! Evo tech Radiator Guard, sw motech tank ring for their tank bag, Moto Sport tail tidy (not the super tucked one) and Their Smoked Tail Light with flash sequence! THIS IS MY #1 (Flashing tail light). Tank Pad Triumph one and some same kind of rubber stickers that go over the RS on the tank (they pop now Amazon). did some stick ons for the heel guards, but they dont work great (peeling) looking to change those to carbon fiber ones. Next is Zard exhaust steel black approved euro5 for Triumph Street Triple very expensive slip on, but man does it look killer. add evo tech phone mount, cruise control, triumph frame sliders and maybe heated grips... Ride Safe and enjoy that sweet machine!

Best thing to do is track days. Learning to ride and handle a bike is the most important thing.
Just did a track day on my cosmic yellow for the first time. I've never been faster around a track before than on this bike, it's a weapon and I didn't even dial in my suspension yet.
@@kupalisky3553 that’s awesome! I have yet to track the bike. I can only imagine. Did you record your track day?

@ brutal. Will you be rebuilding the bike or something different?
@@TheFlipradio3 sold some parts, and buyinig a new one (in the spring)
Hey quick question, got my first service (1k km) next week, how expensive was your service?
@@fznn_3373 really depends your local dealer. I paid $330 CAD.
Brought mine in at 600 miles, installed my full exhaust, then took it back to have them check over everything
So are saying that you are only getting about 105 to 112 miles (170 to 180 km) on a tank??? I am assuming that you are not running the tank down to nothing so if I guess that you are using 3.5 gallons that would put you at 30 to 32 mpg. Is that about what you are getting in mpg? Wow, that's pretty low fuel mileage! Maybe it will get better once everything is broken in. What do you think?
@@lateralus9244 it’s a combination of a few things. The 765 RS has a small tank to begin with 15L or 3.96 gallons. I ride 98% in Sport Mode.
When I picked up my cosmic yellow, on the ride home a turn signal bulb went out. I already had the evo techs at home waiting. Also had the heated grips installed before picking up the bike. I did get it in January, though, and tend to get my break in miles done right away. Grips are a must for me now. Cant live without them
@@sheriff801 the signal bulbs going out seems to be a common thing. Not sure why. I agree, heated grips would be sweet.
@@TheFlipradio3 yeah. I found it weird that the bike even comes with bulbs when the trident has leds. For me though, pricing on the scrolling evo techs was $100 cheaper than the triumph scrolling leds
Where is everybody on the road there? do you live in the middle of nowhere? I never have that little traffic on the roads like that. I'm jealous. Ill ride until it gets down to 43 Degrees F, below that its too cold for me, So usually its the middle of November before I finally stop and put the bike away fir the winter, but would ride if it was colder if I had a better jacket an gloved but that cost too much for the little riding id do at that cold. I want to get s Street triple for my next bike, Not sure the R or RS?
@@Ninja-400-girl It’s pretty chill here. Small city in Southern Alberta, population 100k. I would say, RS. The extra money is worth it. Suspension, brakes, power.
@@TheFlipradio3 Ill have to go take the R & RS out for a ride back to back. to see the difference between them. I've ridden the R and did like it.
Just subscribed from Minnesota! Hopefully that helps for the cameras!
Brother!!!! Thank you!
Proper matching Moto2 gear for sure. I did get the Triumph fork protectos, the Triumphs frame protectors, Triumph swing arm protectors, Triumph engine protectors. Evotech radiator guard and tail tidy. I did splurge on the Triumph scrolling indicators, cruise control, connectivity module, heated grips. A bunch of stuff.. 😂
@@TriumphLover cruise control, heated grips, tail tidy and turn signals are up next. What are you using for tires?
@TheFlipradio3 the stock Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa's. Thinking of doing the Michelin Power 6's when the Pirelli's are done.
Ride safe bro
Hey I'm in Eastern Canada and looking to purchase your exact same bike next week. This will be my first pure Street bike. Do you think it's too much bike for a first bike? My plan is to keep it in rain mode for at least the break in period. If you don't mind answering what did you pay?
Not at all… Go for it. I would leave it in Road mode. There’s so much technology on the bike to keep you safe. For example, too much throttle around a corner or wheel control. As for price, $15,948. Keep an eye out for rebates.
I just bought one but haven't got it delivered yet :) (it's a demo bike with very low miles) it cost me around 11600 dollar No license but will work on it next year, it's winter here in sweden so it will be in the garage for a while when i get it. Many people will say wow first bike and that amount of hp 😂 I'm 32 years old and I had a hd sportster when i was younger but my plan got changed so i stopped for getting a motorbike license. It will be interesting to test it and yeah i will drive it like a granny till i have the license :p Any bike can be driven at any age literally it only comes to how mature you are and the respect you have to the bike. I mean it isn't that smart to go full berserk on the gas if you are new to it and miss all experience on the road. And here in Sweden its kinda normal for 600cc to even 900cc as a beginner bike. So gear and respect for the bike and you are safe as you can be to drive a bike.
@ Congrats, you’ll love the bike!

I own a 2014 STR 675 and did a demo day on the new 765. Honestly, I was disappointed. The bike is definitely more refined but the quick shifter was lack luster to me the blipper was great. I prefer the rawness of my bike but honestly I upgraded to a 2017 speed TR and man no looking back. I would tell anyone that has ridden before to try the speedy. It checks all the boxes and had sick power. You can lug the thing around but turn it loose and hold on. Either way they are awesome bikes.Trust me if you can ride try the Speed, whole different ball game
Is that miles an hour ? 170?
I doubt, 171 M/H = 275.198 KM/H
Stop wingeing and ride the damn bike ! The only problem i see is i cant afford one, will have to make do with my trusty old 900 trident sprint or my 955i sprint rs. Keep the shiny side up 😎
