This is Dynasty Warriors 8. I highly recommend checking out the Dynasty Warriors: Origins Demo! I have some content for it on my channel as well :)

This is Dynasty Warrior 8. It's an older release, but DW9 took a bit of a different route (open world) and didn't quite have the development behind it for it to be fun and succeed. They're in the process of rebooting the series with a more modern take with Dynasty Warriors: Origin, which looks to be VERY FREAKING GOOD. There's a demo available, and i have some content on it as well.

I find myself trying to mimic a lot of the accents sometimes lolol. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story and lore goes!

It more or less is a coincidence of it's pathfinding. Looking for the most triangles to be between you and it, locations of interest often having more

Everything is viable but some are easier than others. Melee has to try extra hard in the early/mid game where Magic/Archery have an easier time due to being able to move while dealing damage. Do which ever you find more enjoyable, or level all 3!

Melee can feel extremely rough, especially in the early stages, but it is possible to clear content with melee, just harder than archery/ Magic

@Miniishadow it paralyzes for one day but just saying that could also be a quick way to quick travel it's by the ice wraith you defeated for galmar.but I believe you are using the mage stone that's good too

That does sound like a very useful stone! Looking back, it may have been very useful at times over a bit more exp XD
