PEV Handy Hint Stumps
hi everyone. here is another escooter handy tip. This time it's what to look out for when riding offroad. tree stumps can easily catch you out when riding a bush track.
Hitting a stump like this or even smaller can at best puncture a tyre or at worst throw you off your scooter causing an injury and may even damage your rim.
So keep your eyes scanning the tracks to look for this and other objects on the track.

Hi everyone. In this video I go through step by step and show you easy it is to check and clean your brakes on our electric scooter. This process is the same for most types of hydraulic brake systems so even if you don't have a predator it can still help. I will be doing the same kind of video for cable brake scooters in the future so keep an eye out for that video.

      @f.cscootriders Thanks for the quick reply. So the regen break works together with the hydraulic brakes? Is there a way to control its strength in the p settings? Im very sorry for asking too many questions, I'm just a bit excited and I'm currently waiting for it to be delivered 😄🤣.

I found the suspension was amazing. the power assist is great. it kicks in quick. the mechanical gearing could be more like a traditional mountain bike to allow easier pedaling up some hills we ride up but like I said in the video I'm not very fit. that said it got us to some amazing locations that I wouldn't do on a traditional mountain bike and that's what it's all about. getting out to locations that would normally be out of the question.

      Yeah. It will allow you to ride for longer and they are addictive and you just want to keep riding.

    dumb question... does the scooter "free-wheel" when the battery is dead? Can you easily push it when it's off or are the wheels locked/engaged to the motors?

    • @f.cscootriders
      @f.cscootriders 4 місяці тому

      Wheels don't lock when there is no power. Not the easiest things to kick push though

    30 miles to completely empty on full charge. 25 amp battery. 3rd gear single motor. 32 mph 99% flat terrain. 65 degrees F. Headlight on. Indicate false 1 battery level, flashing. Out of juice. I expected at least 40 miles.

      That's actually pretty good it it's the smaller of the 2 battery configurations. My test was with the 21ah model

    Hi Andrew, I can't change P12 on my Predator. It seems like the code in the manual (0105) is wrong. Are you aware of this issue?

    Hi Andrew, Is there a way to turn down the acceleration on the Predator? It's way too easy to spin the wheels at the moment.

      @f.cscootriders 5 місяців тому

      Hi there. There is a soft to hard setting which is p10 but the manual says this is not functioning and during my testing I found it didnt make much difference if any. Using your gear makes a difference. I usually ride around in gear 2 for general riding. The throttle isn't as punchy but it still gives good top speed. Less front wheel spin too

    • @f.cscootriders
      @f.cscootriders 6 місяців тому

      Congrats on the purchase. The normal mode is a push to start mode meaning you will need to have the scooter moving before throttle will engage. This doesn't affect the top speed. That's done by P setting 10 which needs to be changed to 00
