You can actually die from fall damage, so don't jump from too high of a cliff. Revelio might help you when you don't know what to do, like when you were in the underwater vault. You can't sell appearances, so once you have one, you have it forever. You can get 500 coins for every eyeball chest you open. Have you figured them out yet? It's not night enough! You can trigger night by going to the map. Somewhere on the screen it says seomthing about forwarding time.

Your Ravenclaw colors are actually Blue and Bronze, not green. Green/Silver belongs to Slytherin, Red/Gold for Gryffindor and Yellow/Black for Hufflepuffs. You can only visit the other common rooms if you play as them. Each House has a different Richard Jackdaw quest that must be completed if you ever want to 100% the game. The movies actually get much older starting with the third, but you are definitly correct - the wizarding world is very dangerous for kids, regardless of whether they're in school or not. They don't seem too concerned about health & safety. Your minimap shows general locations of things you have to find when you are on a quest by giving you the purple circle that the item (gobstone, balloon, etc) is in. If you're interested, Leander Prewett (your Summoner's Court opponent) is probably Molly Weasley's ancestor, as she was born a Prewett. You're not invisible when using Disillusionment. You are a trick of the light. You are fully invisible for 4 seconds when you drink an Invisibility potion. And you didn't ask, but yes, every single lock you want to open, you have to spin the gears.

I'd recommend a Red, Yellow and Purple spell on each combat spellwheel. Enemies can use shields of all three colors. The orbs are colors that match your spell colors. Puzzle doors tip: Your math is off. The top puzzle is 11+2 (not 3). The bottom puzzle is 9+5 (not 6). Single ? spinner has all the odd numbers, and ?? spinner has the evens, so your puzzles have to have both an even and an odd answer. Also, the number of appendages on some of the critters reflect their value (unicorn =1, spider =8, 5-legged thing =5, there may be more)

Game dialogue has a whispery echo (noticed in all four streams so far). Not a huge problem, but it can be a bit distracting. Some hints... (but I think no spoilers) 1) Red halo means you have to dodge, protego won't help you, but the yellow halo is either dodge or protego 2) You can only make potions at a potions table, like the one in the potions classroom 3) You do have a challenge unclaimed, for defeating spiders. A red/orange background is claimable. 4) Even if it's crap, you can at least sell it for gold at a vendor

If no one else has mentioned it, you probably don't need to buy any gear - you'll probably find something better in the next chest you come across. Save your money for some of the things you'll HAVE to buy.

Your character is actually only 15, not 17, at the start of the school year. Add 10 to the school year to get the age at September 1st, when term starts.

Yes, you spend time outside the dormitory if you can't solve the riddle. If you look to the sides of the door, you will see cushions on the floor for students who can't get in to wait for someone who can solve the riddle to let them in.
