I grew up in Port Washington. Class of 2002 Scheriber. Work at soundview and main street theater. Loved growing up in this town. The best memories i ever had.

You forgot to mention what this is supposed to fund. The Star taxes are supposed to fund our educational system.

HI i have a question does anyone know if i can get a star credit check for the last 4 years that i did not file for the star credit which i was illegible for ? Who do i contact in NYS or did i mess up big time? I filed this year and i got my check but since 2018 i have been paying full for school and property tax and i didnt know that i was qualified and now that i got my 1st check from them. How do i go about filing the other 4 years or do i have no way around it?

Who would have thought that watching your previous video about PW would convince me to move here all the way from Honduras! After 8 months living here I can say I'm in love with place and know for sure I will never leave it! Don’t move here!!!!!! It’s very overpopulated as it is. People are dropping dead around the Brookhaven landfill, lots of toxic waste sites, polluted waters, Lyme disease is rampant, so you can’t even enjoy a nice hike in nature, taxes are absurd, traffic is crazy….. Houses are old, dilapidated and moldy (even big houses in upscale neighborhoods have mold issues….. it’s an island so there are a lot of issues with water damage) Not to mention that being stuck on a fairly small island with millions of people is a terrible idea during a time when you never know when there will be another pandemic. Go somewhere else! And if you’re already here, get the heck out!! I sure plan on it!

Yep. On our block there has been several houses on the market since the spring. The house right across the street just hit the market the other day, dec 1st. Open house Yesterday and today dec 3rd and 4th and So many people have been there.
