    Just replaced my 02 Silverado fuel line. In a pinch, a sharpie cap cut about an inch long and split, will work. Press the cap with a pliers while pushing the fuel line toward it and it goes right in (with some wiggling). Inline Tube in Shelby TWP., MI has the lines all premade in stock. Cheaper than the auto parts stores.

    I'd run it without the snap ring. It's easier to get the mounting plate attached to the back of the engine, lower it with the crane and install the plate back into the engine stand, as long as you have the handle installed you dont have to worry about the plate coming out of the stand itself. There's no need for the snap ring. It just gets in the way.

    Do not use wooden blocks to support a lifted car, as they can break and cause the car to fall off the jack stands

    • @MSWMotorsports
      @MSWMotorsports 2 місяці тому

      Never seen this happen. The weight of the car, once settled, keeps the block in tact within the rigid structure of the jack stand support

    • @undefined1150
      @undefined1150 2 місяці тому

      @@MSWMotorsports I commented because it happened to me; the wood fibers separated, especially since the surface of the jack stand is not perfectly flat, creating pressure points where the weight gets concentrated. (Apologies if my English isn't perfect, I'm not a native speaker.)
