@outdoorsman1k depends on your gear, but basically u want to get as much crit as possible while having enough haste (11-12% is ok, more is also ok if can afford it), but also remember about hit cap :)

@MegaWunderbar not at all. hunters got nerfed mate. arp removed, auto shot nerfed, chimera nerfed, aimed shot nerfed. i was doing 14-16k before patch. went down to just over 10.

nice but u should u should dump your focus way more often for even higher dps instead of just spamming steady shot

@guitarherophantom123 It's called Recount. U just go to the 'Windows' tab in its Settings Window and there u'll see 'RDPS' or smth like that. Push it and u'll this graph window on your screen

@Derpinguin44 actually, i think he meant that before the patch Chimera Shot caused also an instant damage from the whole duration of your serpent sting on the target

@TheGuildExecution Then you're doing it wrong. Improved Serpent Sting is a Tier 1 Survival Talent that gives instant damage on application of Serpent Sting.

@Soowoo3O5 , yes, i am using it, but only when Master Marksman effect reaches 5 stacks, and so Buff "Fire!" proc (it makes next Aimed Shot an instant cast and its cost equal to zero)

@ProSpleen , unfortunately yes. As for now we ARE nerfed, e.g. now Kill Shot commonly does only 14-16k damage, but before the patch it did 30-40k =) I hope that with the coming of Cataclysm we will get some "buffs" , e.g. sooting Steady Shot while moving and etc.

the new patch is more a nerf imo, only warriors, warlocks and mages do decent dps. our hunters usually do around 16-18k dps before patch and now they did around 10-12k, same for rogues and paladins

Silence shot does no damage now, so it is worthless for dps at least. It's difficult to find a place for Kill Command in the rotation. It's your choice what to use ArcShot or KC. If u chooses something then u glyph into it and u don't have place for another glyph.

@Kentuckyfriedasian2 Yeah, I'm looking in to it... I had tried using Arc at first, but then made a ton of other changes that I forgot about, and forgot to try it with the other changes... Being a long time MM hunter, who never used Arc pre 4.0, it was easy for me to forget. :)

@sude101 , it works, believe me =) u can try it yourself. That's why we have a reforger-npc near enchantment trainer, to reforge items. Read forums and wow-patch notes =)

ive heard mastery wont work until cata is out..is this true? Cause thats the reason i havent reforged to get mastery rating

@eagleeye1975 , well actually I've tried to use Kill Command on Target Dummy right after the patch came. But I used it along with the Arcane then. And then I came to the decision not to use Kill Command in my MM rotation. Maybe it's changed now. I must check it out. But overall imo Kill Command is something that is more likely to use in BM rotation + Glyph of Kill Command.

I have found that arcane shot is worthless in a MM rotation... The question is, do you use kill command or arcane shot... I've found that my kill command gives me better dps than arcane.
