Today I don’t have much in my art journal that I can share, but I did paint a comic about pronouns and what it feels like when someone says they’ll take a while to get someone else’s pronouns right. I also show you my Planner 1.2, talk about why it didn’t work, and bring out Planner 2.0, a random B6 notebook from Office Depot.

I am much older than you... and you just articulated many thoughts and feelings i have always had, but never put into words. We live in a system we (humans) have built. We can change the system. While we may see some "organization" that is anti-capotalist, we won't see any thriving businesses that are anti-capitalist, anti-racism, anti-colonialist. Those are virtues, not products, and equating a business, which exists to make money for its investors, with being racist just because it isn't primarily focused on being "anti" anything is just silly.

A suggestion I have for seeing the line as you draw it would be to turn the book and ruler 90degrees so that you’re tracing the line vertically.
I wish I could do that, but my current set-up doesn't have enough space to turn the planner without it going off the edge of the desk. We're working on getting a new desk that will have the space I need. Maybe even make it so husband can also sit at the desk instead of being behind me on the couch. 🙃

Five days after I had the second shot I felt my mind waking up from a year long depression that I hadn’t acknowledged I was in. There was color again in the world. Two weeks later I went to see and hug my 93 year grandma again. Magical.
I've been having this experience too! My dad and I are making plans to drive hours and meet up just to hug, I can hardly believe it.

Thank you for the well wishes, but if Trump wins, unrest on the local level will be the least of my worries. His xenophobic and transphobic agenda will continue to do harm for people like me, stripping us of our rights and leading to many more untimely deaths in my community.

What do you mean, what happens in yours?
@@marinar0se the Tomoe River Paper hates gel pens! They smear like crazy. It is very hard to use it without any problem. Sometimes, even with after waiting a longer period, they can smear. That is why I wondered.
@@LiviaTavNaether Ooohhh. Mine do smear from time to time, but it gets hidden by all the writing I put everywhere. I also think that only using them to draw the boxes helps because there's not that much ink on the page, only four lines per box.

@@LiviaTavNaether Also, I was just thinking some more about it, this is a slightly humid climate in Western Oregon, that may help the ink grip the paper more.
I used the "Calendex" part of the hobonichi cousin as a bill tracker or expense tracker. I has worked for me so far.
I have a whole other bill and expense tracking system, but that sounds like a good idea.
