I went through similar, had all the numbers to the bars written down and would be calling between 1 ams 2 AM on school nights, my brothers and i were under 10....my dad was the violent preditor drunk and mom was just checked out....she finally divorced him and remarried a NON drinker and she quit....i believe the damage from abuse was already done....
