Chris Squire Tribute (1948-2015) - Final Eyes from Big Generator (1987)

A tribute video to Chris Squire for his birthday. I used the song Final Eyes because I feel like the lyrics demonstrate the person that Chris really was. RIP Chris. He would’ve been 74 today if Leukemia did not take his life. We miss you! Your music will live on inside us and we will continue to share your music. Disclaimer: No captions! If you want to read the lyrics look them up. There's noth...

Toto - Let It Go - Live Yokohama, Japan, 2006
Переглядів 2,2 тис.3 роки тому
Here’s Toto playing the song Let It Go from their Falling In Between album (2006) in Yokohama, Japan. This song was only played live during the Falling In Between tour. After this tour, it was never played live again. Unfortunately, in 2007, Mike Porcaro (Bass) started to have problems with his hands. He would later be diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and couldn’t play the shows in 200...

Here are some clips of Toto playing at the Hammersmith Odeon in London in 1990. The audio is not great in the first clip (keyboards and guitar are too loud), but it’s still cool to see. All the rights to the music and clips used in this video belong to their respective owners.

This song was played at the Paris 1990 concert, but was never recorded for the concert like the other pro-shot videos. We only have audience audio of songs like Kilimanjaro, American Girl and this one. I don’t own any of the rights to this music or picture shown in the video. All rights go to their respective owners.

Here’s two clips of Toto playing On The Run and Kingdom Of Desire live in Sweden in 1991. Sorry about the poor quality. There’s not that many video recordings from this era. There are some but they’re not that good of quality. Other than the Montruex 1991 concert. This album was an absolute gem
@@BigBass-xf5yi Isolation is my favorite TOTO album, so I definitely agree.
A great Toto song. Shame it’s never made it into any setlists subsequently, would love to hear it with JW on vocals (although I always thought Byron nailed it). Lots of ‘what ifs’ with Toto but close to the top has to be if James Guthrie had produced KOD - they never sounded better than on the 1990 tracks IMHO and Kingdom is a big step down.
Kingdom of Desire is one of my favorite TOTO albums, so I disagree about it being a step down. Byron was a good singer, and he sounds good on the material, but I think live...he was just a little too much on stage and didn't really fit in with the band that well.
I was there! I was 20. This venue Oslo spectrum was pretty new right in the center of Oslo. Seen so many concerts there. Judas Priest, Ron maiden, kISS, Toto, and many more.
They are amazing!🚀
great! x
Kindly tell me the name of the opening song of this instructional video. I think it is probably a song by David Garfield.
@@kobayashiyusuke3251 I don’t know what song David and Mike are playing, but I do know that the drum part Jeff is playing is from a TOTO song called “Mushanga.”
rip elvan gruda
a woman had to sing Fergies part..thats how great he was
👌👌
Top🤩
Pretty good thanks
david london dennis fergie....
Gracias por subir el audio bro, esta canción es una delicia escucharla!!!
@@paoloandreedrew5514 ¡De nada! Me alegro de que te guste.
This is one of my favorite Toto songs! Very underrated…
Fergie sounds phenomenal.
Now I understand why this singer got the sack...
Why ? Just curious cause i never found out why.
@BigBass-xf5yi the dude can't sing live, can't you hear it?
Rockin in 1992 like a heavy metal band !!!))
Una delle più belle performance rispetto alla originale
Every time I watch the professor perform, I'm somewhat sadly reminded he's gone, but his legacy, and music will carry on forever!
9th October and Toto only did a few songs.
Man. Alan White was SO AWESOME! Peart - White - Collins. My top 3!
Hello, do you have a video of Toto from the 1991 summer tour rare footage? He used to be on the vladix channel, but for some time now, he doesn't have a vladix account. Regards
Novembre 2023 Déjà plus de 35 ans je me rappelle comme si c'était hier... A toi Claude 🙏✝️
you can just imagine the look on Luke's face when Fergie says "Title track of my new album, isolation" 😡
Grande TOTO! Banda TOP... músicos excelsos.
Magnifique chanson et mariage parfait entre le jazz des années 90 et le bel accent Toulousain
The best last album of any band ever, RIP professor.
Another Rush masterpiece added to the long list..!
Beautiful. RIP Awesome human being Chris Squire
Thanks for putting this up ,good live version of the song !
Probably from the concert in Köln, 14 sept 1991. I was there, amazing night
Gives me chills everytime I hear it
Toto with a female vocalist would have been amazing
wow... now that was something Donna McD is the real deal.
Luke's voice hasn't changed much since this. I hope Toto put it back it on the setlist one day but 2 full keys lower to suit Joe's voice.
keep an eye out next tour
How Does It Feel has always been my favorite Toto song, hands down.
Me too, since i listened "How Does it Feel", "I'll Be Over You" go down in 2nd position as a favourite song of Toto 😅
Love How Does It Feel. Isolation is my personal favorite TOTO album. I think it’s amazing.
BB is a genius
The Porcaro brothers are on fire here. Michael makes that bass sound like it was some dark dangerous beast from another planet...
They were THE MOOD! Such a great family!!
The master on drums: Jeff Porcaro. Also love his excellent collaboration with Chris Trujillo (percussions). Heard another concert of this tour and my memories stay deep in my heart. Would be great to hear this wonderful song live again. ❤
What show was this from?
It was from a show in Ringe, Denmark ua-cam.com/video/hkjd2bkS_zY/v-deo.html
Wow, this is a great mashup. I am in love with this demo piece. It's unfortunate it was never developed into anything
I've always wondered why this song wasn't a hit for Toto--it's Luke at his soulful best, not to mention the magic of David Paich and a huge assist from, I thin know, the London Symphony Orchestra (?)! I always thought it had been squashed by an executive and that if the powers that be had given it a chance, it would be known as one of Toto's greatest ballads. Turns out it was released but just didn't chart. 😫I will never understand that!
Donna McDaniels killing it,as always, and NO auto tune !
Love at the end when you can hear Steve and Jimmy at the same time and the parts compliment each other. If Steve's ego didn't get in the way a Yes lineup with no keyboards and two guitars could have worked.
I think Steve should have let her sing the whole song..!!
STEVE VOICE NICE👍
Thanks for uploading this. I didn't expect Steve Lukather to fit the spot on lead vocals for this particular Fergie-only song!
Geez, that tempo. Cocaine is a helluva drug. Still a great performance though. Especially Frederiksen's vocals are very good on this one. I feel some of the backing vocals are a bit off though.
Fucking Hell.
Excellent mix. The pitch modulation at the second have fits Jon's voice range better. This would have been a great Yes song.
Yeah. Satellite or Song 4 (Satellite) as it’s known on the Drama deluxe edition was recorded when the band were a trio and came from ideas from the XYZ sessions with Jimmy Page.
@@nickavenoso7851 Steve Howe's guitar playing was more focused and fit way better than Jimmy Page's confused attempt to play a "Yes" song
@@wetzles There were great ideas that came from the XYZ sessions like Mind Drive and Satellite. I do agree though on Jimmy Page. It just sounds weird with Jimmy playing a “Yes” style song.
I played the XYZ bootleg to a Zep fan friend of mine and then played him a bit of Yes' Satellite and Mind Drive for context. He said he preferred Jimmy's playing on Mind Drive but acknowledged that Satellite/ Telephone Secrets worked better with Steve.
