I bucked and hauled hay into these dairies, drove for Ron Souza and Westra Dairy Farms. I still park my truck on an old dairy, my friends still clean the manure off the remaining dairies and now I actually live in a house built on the site of one of the dairies I bucked hay at. There was a beautiful horse ranch on the east side of the 15 that I hauled horse hay into and we cleaned up their manure/shavings piles. With the demise of the Dairy Preserve status, it has been a steady decline in the area and not for the better. Very depressing to see the change and most of all to experience the extreme hatred by the cities of Ontario & Chino, towards the two industries, dairy & trucking, that built this entire area. These cities and the police systematically attack trucks and all us clean, life long safe local truckers are lumped into a group of scum, due to the influx of certain types of people that just dump their trash, oil and tires on the roadside. All of us that have worked on these dairies from the 70’s and earlier, know who that type of person is. Very sad, the blind hatred from the local government, who for the most part are transplants from the LA County area, just attacking the local way of life. They hate trucks, yet build massive industrial complex’s, then restrict trucks reasonable access and routes (They post no trucks on every road) and parking.

This is a joke. My brother is among those death row inmates. He is not a danger to chino. It is a rehabilitation center for a reason. He was sent there and im grateful for that he is closer to his family. I hope and pray he gets to stay. He is not bothering anyone. Maybe news reporters should interview them and see how well they are doing there. If you move them that does not change the fact that there is still a jail in chino hills.
