Tenements in the 18th century were small apartments the size of classrooms, that had around 18 people per apartment. They were highly unsanitary, and featured a sort of well in which you could grab more then likely bacteria infested water, but most of the time there wasn’t even water to begin with. Many families lived in a single apartment, coughing and sneezing on each other, spreading all the germs they carried. Also, there was no ventilation, and only one entrance, that being the hallway. With all these gross and vile traits, you’d think you wouldn’t have to pay for 1… wrong, it was 20$ a month, which would be 1300$ today’s age. This is what inspired me to make this little ambience. Enjoy!
