Morning Julie we love doing jigsaws did two over Christmas it's good to keep going back to them and like you say gives you a different focus might look into the app , the snow is almost gone here but its thst cold it takes some shifting i don't like it for getting out and about looks pretty but not practical enjoy your day ❤❤

This was a great informative video, Julie. I really need to update my iPad and buy a new one, as most apps require iOS 16.0 or later. Please stay safe. The weather here has cooled down a bit with today’s forecast is for around 28 Celsius, Christmas it was in the 40’s and there were several bushfires. 💕

I really enjoyed this Julie. I had heard through a friend about the Libby app but haven't done anything about it as yet. This has prompted me to sort myself out as just coming out of a three month free Kindle Unlimited and do not want to pay nearly £10 a month to download books to borrow. Hope the snow disappears for you :)

I think that we all need to make more time for ourselves. How lovely to be able to plan your future home.

Really resonated with me Julie particularly learning to say no. We downsized two years ago into our smaller home, which we love. We now don’t have the room to put people up although we do have three bedrooms. That got rid of one issue with friends and family expecting to come and stay! The next was learning to say no to my daughter who expected me to drop everything to help her out with grandchildren and dog. That was particularly hard to do but she now understands that we want to live our own lives and we are involved in our new community and have made friends and are always out and about. We also travel a lot. Gave my all to my family but it is now my time at 73. Fit and healthy thankfully but there is more life behind me than in front of me and want to get out and live whilst we can. So stay strong with your no! ❤

I do what I call a vision board every year. I get a poster board from the craft store and glue pictures from magazines of things I want to manifest. It is fun for me. I turned 64 last month and have gained a few pounds. Working from home is the issue. I plan on going for a walk during my lunch hour and enjoy the fresh air. I wish you much success with all your wishes.

Loved this Julie. ❤ I agree with everything you say here. Prioritising self care for sure, and yes I totally understand what you say about elderly parents. Going through it with my Mom at the moment. It's hard isn't it? You want to be helpful and a good daughter but at the same time you have to make a judgement call at times. Just because something feels urgent to somebody else doesn't mean it actually IS urgent! I don't make resolutions as such, but I do have a general plan and I tend to set myself a monthly goal. (Usually starts with dry January.) I hope you achieve your aims in the coming year. It would be interesting to revisit this at the end of the year. Xxx

Hi Julie, this was a terrific one. I totally agree with making time for ourselves, whether it be sitting and relaxing with a book, watching a series, movie, UA-cam, or even working in the garden or kitchen. Doing things for you has to be beneficial to your well-being. We have always lived on land, 50acres where we raised our four children, once they began to marry and leave home we moved closer to town on an acre, this was a new estate and when house stared to build around us, which only took a couple of years we moved out of town again and built on a three acre block. We’ve been here for thirteen years, but lately we have been thinking about down sizing and moving closer to public transport, amenities and the hospital, as we are ageing and my husband has health issues. There are definitely certain things I have in this home I want in the next, a walk-in wardrobe and pantry, plenty of storage and a reasonable size garden. I remember that you mentioned in an earlier video that you were considering on moving here to Australia, is that still an option, Julie? XX
