@@butterclout appreciate you! Yeah, unfortunately I moved out of that studio apartment in this video. I started living with family due to financial stuff and just was never able to get a setup going to record. I was staying in the living room. In my last video, I tried recording in my car. But even after one song, my phone was overheating (i live in a blazing state haha). After that, I was pretty discouraged because I didn’t know how I was going to record album reactions, if my phone was struggling after one song. I still LOVE music and hate that I abandoned this channel the way I did. I really thought I was going to keep going. I’m sure there is a way for me to record. But honestly, the past couple years I’ve been struggling with addiction and that also played a huge role in me not creating on this channel anymore. I will say that I finally broke free from my addiction recently. I started a new channel to kind of show my addiction recovery and be a light to others who are struggling. But it’s not about music, so I understand if people don’t tune in as much. I’m sorry, I wish I could have been better on this channel and kept going. But I just had a lot going on mentally and the living situation made it hard to record. It’s no excuse though, I’m sure I could have found a way like I said. Appreciate you for tuning in though!!

I appreciate your support! Yeah, it was really something that was affecting every part of my life. But I’m just glad to be on other side now. I am about to hit a full month sober. I’ve always thought about maybe recording myself listening to songs outside. Like on a walk or run. And then somehow edit in the songs later. I would just have to line up the audio with my reaction. I’m on a new path now and I’m feeling better than ever. So who knows I definitely could come back in the future. I just feel bad because I always told my supporters I would come back and make it work. But unfortunately, that did not stick true. I appreciate you listening and being a supporter no matter what!

Hey!! I just replied to someone about something similar. So sorry for the late response. My love for music hasn’t changed at all. But in like 2023, I moved in with family and couldn’t create my usual setup. I tried recording in my car (cabin fever video). But even after one song, my phone was saying it was overheating. I live in AZ so it’s pretty much always warm. After that recording session, I got pretty discouraged because I was like “how am I supposed to record a whole album now, if one song is giving me trouble?” I hate that I just abandoned the channel. I just redownloaded the studio app and have been reading comments I missed. I also stutter and don’t talk clearly sometimes. So recording can be a chore just trying to get my words across. I really appreciate you though being engaged in the comments. It’s people like you that really drove me to create the channel in the first place. This was absolutely one of favorite videos to record and I’m so glad people are still getting something from it. Stay safe my friend!

Hey!!! I am so sorry bro for the late response. I haven’t had the studio app on my phone in awhile so I haven’t been getting notified. But just know your engagement in the comments means a lot! I still am pretty disappointed in myself for abandoning the channel. I’m not sure if you caught it in some of my videos, but in like 2023, I had to move back in with family. I did all the way back in August! But honestly, I started editing it and then that’s when my motivation tanked when it came to to UA-cam videos. I can definitely start working on it again. The last video I put up gave me some momentum. It was a great album though!!

Thanks man! Yeah, I really don’t even listen to him like that either. I like a good amount of songs from him, but that’s about it. I’ve been thinking of doing something like that with a rating. Or just giving like a ranking of my least favorite to favorite songs. You’re right, it would be cool to implement that. I’ve never tried adding chapters so I’ll have to try that. Glad to hear from you! While I think I liked the album a little bit more than you, I definitely see where you’re coming from. Honestly, beerbongs and Bentleys is my favorite album from him and I think it always will be. Like you said, the singer songwriter elements with the hip hop production was just amazing. I see why you aren’t enjoying this one. There was definitely quite a good amount of songs that had to grow on me. I also think there was too much of a 80s 90s pop influence. It’s not bad, but I think the only song that has that influence that I really liked was Too Cool To Die. After that, I kind of started getting disappointed when I kept hearing that same kind of style. It’s not bad, but I just can’t listen to too much of it. I really wish there more songs like Novacandy. That one really reminded me of b&b and I thought there would be more of them. I also just think from a lyrics/songwriting perspective, I really just connected with a good amount of the tracks. The chorus in Socialite really hit the feels for some reason for me. Same thing with landmine. I think if I didn’t relate as much, I wouldn’t have enjoyed the album as much. Something Real, Socialite, and Landmine were my top 3 songs in no order. I’m sure you were disappointed after hearing Something Real and that there wasn’t really anything that sounded similar to it after it. But I completely understand your point of view! I still come back to a majority of the album. But there’s definitely songs that I could have done without. Speedometer definitely grew on me a ton. I think if you sub out a few of the pop songs for b&b style songs, A LOT of people would be engaged with this album more. But I think it all depends on your taste. What did you think of the acoustic guitar songs like Don’t Understand or Hold My Breath? He’s definitely done that style before with feeling Whitney and stay. Im late again, sorries. Tbh I think most of the songs just didnt hit for me because my taste in music just made an 180 and i really feel nostalgic about postys work. Ur right, the style on novacandy wouldve been a great way to go for for the whole album but he decided not to :') I totally forgot to mention, ur so right about landmine. After watching ur reaction, i came back to it so goddamn often eventhough it really doesnt match with my taste rn but i really appreciate it for what it is Its really interesting to see tbh that people do not like speedometer, eventhough i thought it would go crazy numberwise because of its laidback pop song attitude.. Dont understand was amazing. perfect opener but post malone tbh always had great openers to albums, from broken whiskey glasses to hollywoods bleeding (HARD AF) to the one one the last album (i forgor but it was amazing) and this one, all great. have you checked out his tinydesk concert? 1h acoustic posty, loved it.
