Liked your video as well your conversation ,waiting for next 💖
Hy...could you give a rundown of total expense, hotels etc.
Hey, I can give you a rough estimate of what I spent, though this will vary depending on how you split the drive and where you stay. Hotels came to Rs 22k (roughly 7k a night at really good hotels) Fuel cost was around Rs 8k Toll were about Rs 1.5k So you should probably budget around Rs 30 thousand for the drive (one way)
You did not say anything about availability of spares since it’s been 6 years since they have discontinued them? Are you finding it difficult with repairs?
Honestly, i didn't face much of an issue with spare parts availability. It's obviously not at par with say a Maruti, but whenever a new part has been needed my dealers have been able to source it within a day or two (eg. A rear door quarter glass that needed to be replaced last year and a 3rd row seat back panel). That said, I have only put 25,000km on it and been on top of service and repairs. So my experience might be very different from someone with a high mileage Hexa.
Sir I want your number as I want to buy hexa
Hi Ravi, unfortunately I'm not selling my car right now and I'm not a dealer so I won't be able to find you another Hexa for sale. If you have any questions about what to look for, I can help you with that.
Sir i want to know ki tata wale iska proper maintenance kr pate hein jaise ki egr problem ac failure exhaust crack wiper motor failure are very common problem in hexa. Are they can maintain hexa or ask for complete change .parts availability kaisi he@@NBDrives
@@ravigautam071 So far, I have had no problem with spare parts. All the dealers I have used can source parts in a 1 to 3 days (which isn't as fast as some other brands, but is acceptable for a discontinued Tata). Last year I had to get the rear door quarter glass replaced and the third row seat back panel replaced and it took the dealer only 1 day to get both parts and complete the job.
@@NBDrives in which city and dealer name Thanks for information
Which year Tata hexa is good to buy?? And at what cost?
Honestly, the 2019-20 models would be my pick as they got the updated infotainment screen. As for pricing the early Hexas (2017) can be found as low as Rs 7-9 lakh depending of variant and km driven. Most of the updated 2019 and newer models will cost around Rs 12-15 lakh depending on variant and km driven.
hexa is the best family car and very comfortable👍🏻
I wholeheartedly agree!
Ok thank you, tomorrow I'll be embarking on Kolkata to Madurai drive with my family. Wish me luck!🎉
Best of luck and safe travels! I'd love to know how the drive went.
Loved the detailed long term review. I have been thinking of getting an SUV as my next car. Might consider a used Hexa
Thank you! And if you find a good example I'd say you buy it 😁
good yet could have been further better,,, thanks for sharing your experience,,,
What will you suggest from delhi should one take Kanpur or Lucknow highway ?
Honestly, from when I drove it, the Lucknow Expressway was better to drive.
Hello Nishmanya. I wanted a suggestion and it's my humble request to kindly read this comment. I'm a government servant from rajasthan and buying my second car( currently driving Swift vdi). I have selected the Skoda Kushaq 1.5 Sportsline DSG at around 17 Lakhs( BH registration). Is it a good option now??. 🙏
Hi Sunidhi, the Kushaq 1.5 with the DSG is a great car especially if you self drive, and honestly the Sportline variant offers almost all the features you could want in the segment. That being said please check if the service centre nearest to is well rated (as some aren't very efficient). And I hope you've had a look at the rivals as well.
@@NBDrives yes i test drove the taigun , grand vitara and creta. Creta S O disel was good option but over 18 lakhs on road, morover didnt feel as strong. my Monthly run would be around 500-600 KM so petrol makes more sense . My concerns are regarding dsg failures and below 10 avg. And yes i self drive . There are just 2 service centres here in jaipur, dont really have their reports rn
@@sunidhisharma5737 The choice for a petrol makes sense for you, though the fuel efficiency with an automatic is very dependent on your driving style. I know people who have managed 11 maybe even 12 kpl in the city, though they are extremely light footed and patient. I personally won't be able to with my natural driving style. DSG failure honestly shouldn't be too much of a concern as they are getting better optimised for India and if you follow good AT etiquette, it will last. Lastly, did you try the Honda Elevate and Kia Seltos? Cause the Elevate is significantly cheaper and the Seltos is a great all-round package.
@@NBDrives seltos and creta were out because of security concern. Elevate i did try, good car but somehow the looks didnt appeal to me . Yes, i am learning about AT dynamics . Thanks for the response :)
Kudos! Keep the momentum going!
Thank you for the support!
Very interesting segment!
Is there a facelift coming for Skoda Kushaq in 2025... If yes, are there any official comments because dealers were not disclosing this one.
There is a mid-cycle facelift expected in late 2025. Though no official statement from Skoda, hence dealers won't give any information either. But since the first Kushaq facelift test mule has been spotted abroad already, there is a very good chance we'll start seeing the test mules in India soon and get more info then.
How stiff is it to steer through city? Does it feel light or heavy?
The steering was fairly light in comfort mode (at low speeds). Though in dynamic mode it felt heavy at low and high speeds.
I’m so proud to be a owner of my Jaguar 😊
What Jag do you own?
I'm planning to rent a car nex year to drive from tokyo to kawaguchiko, i'll arrive at 2330hrs at Haneda airport.. i want to ask you, is it ok to drive late at night in japan..?? And is it hard to refill gas at japan the japanese gas station? Appreciate your feedback so much... 🙏🙏
Apologies for the delayed reply. Honestly, you shouldn't have any issue with night driving there as all road users are very disciplined and the roads are well lit and maintained. Just stick to the speed limit and follow their traffic rule and you'll be set. As for the gas station, I had no issues filling up in Tokyo area as most stations had at least one person that spoke English. In the country side it might be a little tougher to communicate so just keep a translation app handy.
Had a pleasant viewing experience with you bloke 😊
Glad you had a good viewing experience 😁
Hi, I'm planning a Mumbai Delhi road trip & your video has been really helpful. I just wanted to know if you faced any trouble entering Delhi in a Diesel car, were you harassed or fined by the cops at check post ? I'm planning my trip with Hyundai Alcazar Diesel 2024 Model.
I'm so happy to hear you found the video helpful!! Honestly, there was no issue getting into Delhi whatsoever, and I have driven in and out of delhi with various out of state cars without an issue. I was only stopped entering Gujrat, as it is a dry state. Plus your Alcazar won't be a very obvious target in any case as it has a petrol counterpart and is quite new.
I drive a diesel XUV 700 IN Delhi and can tell you the cops don’t stop, the rule is for old diesel vehicles
Quality tu hai toyota land cruiser mein , solid beast 💪
Toyota LC = Rugged + Reliable
Excited to experience it when my friend sends me this for some days In white it looks massive IMO
I'm excited for you, it'll be a great experience!
I also think that white and other light colours like silver and pale blue show off the visual mass of the Defender the most.
In terms of ride comfort and maneuvering the car on hill is it better than Discovery Sport? Or should I opt for F Pace.
Honestly, in my opinion it drives much better than a Discover Sport, so if you self drive definitely give some priority to the F-Pace. BUT, Jag has pretty much halted all manufacturing and are now focusing on EVs, so I don't know how good the after sales service is going to be over the next 5 years. So go for it only if this doesn't worry you OR if know of a reliable premium car workshop in your area.
Very nice video. 👏 Could you please tell me something more about the ride quality and comfort of this F Pace? Specially on the bumpy road.
Thank you so much for the appreciation!!
The F-Pace has surprising good ride quality for an SUV that has such capable driving dynamics. on roads with small to medium imperfections, the F-Pace will not have any issues, though the bigger potholes and sharp ruts can be felt in the car unless you slow down a lot.
Really sincere work to show all the small details like ambient light/night time shots, parcel tray etc. Thank You! Just got one back in Aug with some okayish discounts. Some parts and features are def dated, but still overall premium enough for me.
Thank you so much for showing your appreciation, it means a lot!!!
Have you had a chance to do any long trips in your Kodiaq yet?
@@NBDrives Not yet but hopefully soon :)
Max I pulled 18.5 kmpl in vw taigun 1.5 and second servicing is not done yet
That's awesome! Was this on highways or city and highway combined?
@@NBDrives neither highway nor City. Short cut kind of road
@@RABHAROCK Ahh, I see. That makes it more impressive!
Well said bro helpful
Glad you found the video useful!!
Jeep meridian vs skoda kodiaq vs VW tiguan which one do you suggest .. i drive mostly on highway rather than city.
Honestly, with highway running the diesel powertrain in the Meridian would suit your requirement well and it is a wonderful car especially if you are self driving. That said, the after sales service is on average not very good (unless your local center has got good reviews). If that's a deal breaker then I'd say wait for the new-gen Kodiaq (set to launch in early 2025) or find a current-gen Kodiaq with a heavy discount (many dealers will be offering big discounts).
@@NBDrives yeah drove the jeep Meridian yesterday it's super .. the drive n steering is super and light ..doesn't feel like suv that level of comfort..effortless driving ..only cons is a little drag at the start and 3 rd row seat ..remaining all is nice..but didn't drive skoda yet .. new gen kodiaq interiors is super premium.. but based on price after launch wil decide between these two. thank you so much for your suggestion bro .. got cleared from confusion n dilemma .
I'm so glad I could help!! After the Meridian the current Kodiaq might seem a bit small, but let me know what you feel after the test drive. And I'd also love to know what you end up choosing.
Definitely the best of the lot in the price range, I would wait for the new 25 model that is slated for next year though to get more bang for buck.
Its a lovely car. I definitely would agree with waiting for the new-gen model makes a tonne of sense, though it will be really pricey (as its expected to be full import, so expect 60± lakh OTR)
best cars for road trips under 1cr & 50L?
From the cars I have personally experienced, the Audi Q7 for the 1cr bracket and the Jeep Meridian or Mahindra XUV700 for the sub 50 lakh bracket. This is not taking into account stuff like after sales service and resale values, just the driving experience and feel.
What would your picks be?
@NBDrives I really like the Meridian but the "other stuff" is holding me back, I guess I'll go with the q7 for a start, if the Ford brings the Everest it will change a lot of things. Funny how these were my exact choices
@@nahshonfernandes hahahaha, great minds think alike 😀! Honestly, I'm also very tempted by the Meridian as a replacement for our family car, and I've heard many of the early niggles have been ironed out.
@@nahshonfernandes the Ford Everest is coming next year, and it'll seriously be a breath if fresh air in the D segment. I'm really looking forward to it. Even the updated MG Gloster will be quite interesting, as it's already IMHO the most comfortable D segment SUVs (space and ride quality wise).
Why didn't you choose Mumbai Delhi expressway?
Because I wanted to drive a lap of the Golden Quadrilateral (6,000+ km) solo and that meant I had to take the NH 48 route.
Because it's not fully functional!!
Adas doesnt have any use in india😂 ask any users who are having it
Having spent plenty of time with cars that have ADAS, I do agree that many of the big ticket features (adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance, etc.) aren't very useful in India and some actually feel quite intrusive! That said, a few safety features such as the blind spot monitoring, lane change camera, and rear cross traffic alert can make your driving experience a little better on our chaotic roads.
@@NBDrives forward collision can create lot of confusion
@@Edwinphilipsam I know man, I have had it 'over intervene' a few times. It is not a fun experience😅
Spot on. Its a confusing tech for the driver and then you get screwed on your pocket too
Such a neat video.
Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback!! 😀
Is there any ghat section?
Only the last few Km as you get close to Belgavi, but even these were fairly wide roads and were in good condition.
Skoda is always awesome ❤❤
Jeep Cherokee does sound like a good buy.
I think so too!
Amazing content, man! Keep it up, you deserve millions of subs - KPS
Hi, any idea when the 1.5 mt will be back ?
Honestly, I'm not sure they will bring it back. The sales figures for the manual variant were too low to justify continuing the variants. If at all, Skoda might do a special edition targeted at driving enthusiasts in the future with the 1.5 TSI manual gearbox. I hope they do, because the MT gave the Kushaq quite an engaging driveing experience.

If you had a budget of Rs 40-50 lakh, which 3 row SUV would you buy?
I already got Kodiaq. What a car and driving...i am just enjoying every trip. I went through the regular rough patch / bad roads, eg., from HebbeFalls-to-Devaramane in Chikkamagalur, Karnataka. I used to drive on these roads with my old Mahindra Scorpio, this time I took my Kodiaq and it was a cake walk for my Kodiaq. I was awed the way Kodiaq handled stress free on those roads.
@@KeshavaRaju08021980Friday That's great to hear! How long have you had your Kodiaq?

The service interval is 10,000km or 12 months and it is supposed to cost Rs 5-7 thousand. But these are just estimates. Real cost varies from car to car and on the usage.

The AC performance is quite good and the ventilated seats help as well.

One is a G63 that has a performance V8 which uses high octane petrol (98 - 100 octane) and gives low mileage. The other is a G 350d that runs on regular diesel and can be taken on long outstation drives.
I had test drive.. Suspension is not good on roads.. Gear is some what heard There is a lag on gear shifters n acceleration.. In that price u can get.. Kia carens Kia driving is so smooth n suspension is ultimate..
