Santa Fe Dale Ball Trails | Mountain Biking close to town is a thing.

This is a sampler of the Dale Ball trail system in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Just 10 minutes from town in the mountains. Several ways this can be ridden. I have ridden it in the easiest fashion in which you get all the downhill, with the least amount of climbing. There is climbing involved though. Bike used is the Yeti SB160 For all your bike needs, contact Shaun at N 1bikes.com. He will take care ...

      @@millerman692 Memory depends on how much you will be filming and how long. It's probably best to get a card that is larger than you need. It helps to always have more space. As far as the clarity. It depends on what camera you are using and the settings you have on it. Are you filming in the day or cloudy days. I would recommend looking up some YT videos on camera settings for your camera. It would be too long to do here. Also, what software are you rendering the footage with. What setting on the software are you using, for example are you rendering in 1080 or in 4k? Look for some videos, there's many. Find some that are using your software and your particular camera. Hope this helps.

    I bought a fuel ex 7 that came standard with a TRP brake system which I didn't like at all, I installed some Shimano model XT and the discs of the same brand didn't work, they folded like paper. Having saved the trp rotors, I just installed them as you show in your video and what a surprise I was, it brakes excellent, the discs do not bend with the heat and goodbye vibration to the front of the bicycle, thanks for the contribution!

      How does thicker rotors give you more power? I keep hearing that but don't understand how

    • @alfrednOObel2
      @alfrednOObel2 5 місяців тому

      @@Rickie-37 A part of it is subjective as with thicker rotors you get the bite point faster and feel more power. But the other thing is that they don't get hot so fast, so they maintain optimal braking parameters during longer descends. As there is no fade, you get that bite when you need to brake more after you have been slowing down before.

    • @Rickie-37
      @Rickie-37 5 місяців тому

      Yea the whole bite point thing still puzzles me. In automotive and motorcycles, the piston will just stay out further as the pads and rotors wear down. I guess if you bleed it with the pistons out a bit it would feel the same with thinner rotors? @@alfrednOObel2

    • @alfrednOObel2
      @alfrednOObel2 4 місяці тому

      @@MrSupermugen I have changed only the rotors, and my brakes are more powerful. Maybe it is not direct, but thicker rotors need less cooling, so less holes. Less holes = more contact surface = more friction = better breaking.

    Great Info: But I'm a bit curious about the substantially less metal surface for the pads on the Galfer rotors despite the larger diameter of 180 vs 203mm. I can see the benefit of staying cooler, but also, pads obviously can negate the lesser metal, and perhaps also the type of steel they are made from. In addition, The concept of using different brake pads front and rear is great. I'm currently doing my research in choosing and buying the correct adapters for my climate and riding style. 👍
