I hope I get this outcome when I do mine right now thank you for the video !
Nice repair, you soldered it.
So little help my daughters blower won’t come on, but if I go underneath and hit it with my hand it comes on , then works fine , is the fan bad or resistor or both
Haw to replays the Kam shaft for Hyundai Elantra
Thank you for putting this on here I have had a problem with my window in my truck for awhile and your video helped again thank you
Glad my video helped. comments like yours make it worth doing. Thanks for watching.
It blows the fuse when i move the gear from parking to R
I change the switch and continue blowing the fuse number 20
Where’s the smoke inlet?
I have a 1984 ranger and i have replaced the EEC, and the coils i still have no spark. Can someone give me some ideas on what it may be?
I have a 97 2.3 it died while driving on the freeway , exited safely and tried to restart it. It just cranks but doesn’t not start? I got a new fuel pump, new battery, new battery terminal connectors, new camshaft sensor, still does the same thing. Anyone know what can the problem is ?
It looks like you were getting some kind of continuity but something for viewers to know is the same fuse is used for the cigarette lighter as the power for the OBDII port. So if you blow the fuse to the cigarette lighter you will need to replace it to get the OBDII port to work again as well. This fuse has blown twice for me while using a tire inflator in my 2001 Pontiac Aztek. I forget which one it is but the fuse is located in the fuse box under the hood. It is not specifically labeled for either of these on the diagram in the fuse box, either.
Mechanic for 25 years , if you have a blower that doesn’t work reach under and smack underneath that cover he took off below and if the blower starts working and also if it sounds rough or squealing while it blows, you can bypass all other steps for the circuit mostly , a time saver . Replace the blower and module, the module controls the speed from your dial, the reason you want to replace both the module and blower is one affects the other , if you have a blower that is old it takes a toll on the module/ resistor, and also the blower creates over heat in the module/ resistor
So it blows the fuse from not making contact ? I put in a new ignition module , and a multifunction switch , 1 month later its doing it again ..im about to wire it like the stock cars used to be wired ..they got way more wires than i need in a work truck , computers too , don't need them either ..
What did you end up doing to fix this? Did you just replace the throttle body?
IAC housing gasket?
My customer didn't want to replace the throttle body. It was leaking out of the throttle body shaft. Thanks for watching.
that was it . THANK YOU. window been out for a year. chased the things you tube said. F"N OLD SCHOOL PROBLEM
Awesome. I'm glad you got it. Thanks for watching.
I found broken wires in the boot of the door jam. Fixing the black one fixed my issue. Window lock wire couldn’t be reached, so I’ll dig it out another day.
Thanks for watching
God bless you man . I have the same issue after parking my car for 5 years without use
Thank you. Hopefully you are driving it now. Thanks for watching.
Great video. They probably didnt need the new fuel pump. Just a wire fixed. That has happened to me before lol.
Thank you. They did not need a pump. That is why I test before I replace. Thanks for watching.
After replacing the fuel pump in my 2006 Jeep grand cherokee laredo 3.7 WK- Im now having a problem with a vapor lock and my new pump is making a ringing/humming noise off and on-is there a way to fix it with a inline check valve or inline filter of some sort. I have to release pressure on the fuel rail to re-crank it after it runs for more than 20 minutes/ which is a possible fire risk which makes it not safe to drive. Any suggestions? Reply
Sorry it took so long to reply. That sounds like a tricky one. I hope you got it. Thanks for watching.
Excellent information, it work in my car, it was the fuse box. thanks Bro
You're welcome. I'm glad my video help. Helping makes it all worth doing. Thanks for watching.
A pinhole? Lol
It was a surprise for me also. I couldn't see what was leaking. I held my phone over the engine compartment and watched the video. I wasn't expecting a leak like that. Thanks for watching.
my crankshaft sensor was the problem. for some reason they come in two parts and i was missing the other part. it looks like a like a T and just snaps on to the part that gets bolted on.
Glad you got it. I have replaced a lot of crank sensors. Thanks for Watching.
thank you saved me some cash bro thanks
You're welcome. Glad my video helped. Thanks for Watching.
Is there a way to calibrate the new mode actuator without using a 5k scanner?
Not that I know of. I have always used a scanner. Good luck. Thanks for watching.
Great thanks bro..
I have same problem on my 2008 F-150, passenger side front and rear won't work
Good luck. I hope you find it. Thanks for watching.
Original belt with 200k miles??? Lol! I change mine every 90k..have 260k now and 0 problems with this car..ever!
Thats awesome. My Mom drives a 2010. I think they are good cars. keep a good belt on it and the oil changed. It should last forever. Thanks for watching.
WOW!!!how lucky can you get !!! This is your day to buy a power ball ticket !
I agree. I wish they were all that easy. I'm just not that lucky. Thanks for watching.
Don't you wish all repairs could be that simple? 😂
Yes, I do. I'm not usually that lucky. Thanks for watching.
Are you serious!? The wires are that fragile. I installed new speakers in my 05 and just the front window is not working. I bought a new switch for it and that didn’t do it. But I guess I’ll have to check that next.
Good luck and Thanks for watching.
Thank you !
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
Somebody crawled under the truck and cut one wire while the were in a restaurant eating dinner?
It was corrosion. Someone probably pierced that wire a long time ago while testing for power and never sealed it. It finally couldn't handle the load. Thanks for watching.
@@ATAwizard Yeah, that makes sense. :)
If you close the car door and turn the fan switch on and off you'll hear a click from the blower motor if the fuse is good. Nice vid. We're all here for the same reason
Thank you. Thanks for watching.
Them connectors go bad very often, you can bypass em. Theys a few videos on here about how to do so.
I don't mind replacing a connector. I like to repair wiring. Most people just want the part replaced. Thanks for watching.
I changed the blower motor and it worked for a week but then stopped working again, no air comes out, I changed the 40 fuse and it still doesn’t work. Any ideas what it could be?
Sorry. I Don't diagnose online or on the phone. but I will always say load test power and ground. Also, a new part is not aways a good part. I have replaced a lot of blower motor relays. I hope you found your problem. I'm going to try to make more detailed videos in the future on how to test the circuit's. Thanks for watching.
2005 ford f150 5 button power window problems - Following your video it seems that each window has its own power lead. So, here's my issue, my drivers window switch has been failing for sometime now, going down works fine, but going up was very intermittent. Just yesterday both (up and down) died. All other windows still worked (as good as to be expected for an 18 year old switch). I picked up a new 5-B switch at the local dealership, and installed it...same issue on the drivers window, though all other windows worked perfectly. So, my question, is there a separate fuse or relay for just the driver window (DW) switch? Does the DW switch power lead go through the door-jam bundle or does it go directly to the regulator motor?
It has been a while since I have worked on this vehicle. I recommend you get a wiring diagram. I have replaced a lot of window motors that did the same thing. I hope you found your problem. Thanks for watching.
I changed the cabin air filter in my daughter's '12 Cruze and it looked like that as well.
Thanks for watching.
Solid work my guy
Thank you and thanks for watching.
how stupid of 'Ford putting a connection box under the bottom like that , I hope they have changed that now
Probably not. Thanks for watching.
LS❤
Thanks for watching.
This looks exactly like the car that was stolen from me back in the mid 90’s, even has the same dark grey respray
Since I have seen this car. I have seen 2 others just like it. Identical. It's a pretty cool car. Thanks for watching.
LS for sure...
I agree. Thanks for watching.
Part numbers
Same model/year, but my windows have power, but none of them work.
Good luck. I hope you find it. Thanks for watching.
I have problem with 2000 ford ranger. The same problem going to check to wires today thank to you and your video. Hope i get it fixed!! 😂
Good luck. Thanks for Watching.
My defrost button is stuck, it only works when car is heated. Will the button break if I pop it off, what do you recommend
I definitely think it will break. I would try to clean it without soaking it. It sounds like a dirty button. Good luck. Thanks for Watching.
Dumb question,.. is it possible to remove the rubber boot covering the wires in the door jam without tearing it out? 😬
If it will come out of the door or the jamb. It should push to one side or the other. Good luck. Thanks for Watching.
Need a New blower motor? Mines doing the same
That’s what I need to know too
It's possible. I would check my circuits first. there is more on that circuit other than a blower motor. Good luck and Thanks for Watching.

That railroad light is so cool.great job refinishing that.👍
Thank you. It was fun. Thanks for Watching.
My don’t blow air from the front you think I need to replace the same thing?
I would check my powers and grounds first. Good luck. Thanks for watching.
