QHS Peregrines - Morning feed and view of chicks 17/05/24
Love birds! There are 10,000 species of birds and they're fascinating.
Four is incredible! My favourite scrape on UA-cam. It would be great for the birds if they had a box to keep the rain off when they are tiny. Rain is responsible for a lot of Gyrfalcon chick's dying up in the north. Very grateful for the videos though, thank you 👍 Look forward to seeing them fledge.
4:38 Momma is trying to brood her chicks - but they're too big to! 5:31 Momma - I can do two! LMAO!
They are truely remarkable creatures. It would be great if they could have a little shelter, just to keep the rain off the chicks down when they are very young. We get so much rain in this country. The population of Gyrfalcons in the Arctic are reportedly suffering because of rain saturating the chicks. Very grateful for the video updates, Thank You!
Lovely! They're coming on really well. This is my favourite nest, in a really nice part of the country. Love it! Thank you!
what's going to happen to the channel with the sutton office closure and moving to a new office?
Cute😘😘😘😘😘
Nice to see them all doing well.
Thanks for continually posting sections from the CCTV. It's a shame the building sell off impacted the camera view. I was looking forward to seeing the chicks running round the big rooftop area unlike some of the confined nest box sites.
No problem, I keep an eye on it when I can
Is there a livestream link to this nest?
Not anymore
absolutely fantastic brings a complete grin of happiness to my face
This year i see lots of Peregrine nest with 4 kids❤❤❤❤,,,,not very comon but lot of work for both parents,,,lets hope for the best here, in others parents are work hard and achive to grow up their kids,,,lets see here,,,hope for the best💪💪
This is really cool
Fantastic footage! Seems the chicks take turns to get fed (apart from the one on the front left that got more food than any of the others).
Yep, it was quite distressing watching live, thinking that the one at the back was going to be left out
Wonderful to see the babies, jusst hope they all survive. Thanks whoever is able to get these films and sow them on UA-cam.
More about to be added
Hi, do you know if this channel / video updates will continue after the office move in May 2024??? Will the cameras be allowed to stay in place or will peregrine videos have to stop afterwards? Not sure who to contact so sending a comment through your youtube video. Hope you see this
This channel will not be updated from end of May/early June. Hopefully we can catch some footage of this years chicks hatching.
@@peregrineqhs294 Sorry to hear that.... Thank you for letting me know. Its a shame there will be no more videos after the move. Do you know if the falcons will still be protected / monitored by others??? Everyone is wondering what's going to happen to the falcons after the move... Thanks
Amazing video and how beautiful they are
That’s nature. 🥚
😱 Does not bode well.
I don't know where this is, but here in Berkeley, our falcons have been dealing with the avian flu outbreak. Our beloved Alden disappeared, and other offspring of Annie's have died from it as well. We're told, the favorite food source of pigeon is playing a big part of the deaths.
How long do they normally live to? Appreciate the write up in the description box.
Around six years in the wild, although there have been wild peregrines that have live longer, six years is a basic average.
Where is this
What actually happened ?
Fly safely Perry, wherever you are.
It's kind of surreal seeing a video like this. I'm not sure why it was recommended to me, but for some reason I feel sadness at the disappearance of what must have been a very familiar bird to some people. Thanks for the video, it's interesting to see wildlife integrating themselves into human architecture and life.
😢
Oh good, hope it is a successful bonding 🙏🏻
Too big to brood!
Well fed children right there , happy 😂
Great video! I wonder if the peregrines in the UK are bigger than the ones here in Hong Kong. There's a peregrine falcon nesting on top of the skyscraper where I live and I got a few shots of it, but it looks smaller than the one in your video.
Peregrines have to eat too! Magnificent bird! ❤
Cute little babies 😘😘😘😘😘
Good
Yes, been seen since and ok
Hope it is okay.
In which country are these falcons?

I love it
I love it
