The community in Perry Township and surrounding areas enjoyed a celebratory milestone as the Perry Local School District officially opened its new elementary schools with three ribbon cutting ceremonies and three open houses on the same day.
Watson Elementary, Southway Elementary, and Lohr Elementary students toured the completed educational facilities with their families and local community members. With attendance in the hundreds at each event, guests were invited to walk the hallways just before the opening of the 2024-2025 school year.
