Ya, it's awesome to have close to home! And I just found out another school close by put in some dirt jumps, so that's next on our places to visit.

I'm surprised the schools around here are putting in bike features, but mountain biking is getting pretty big around Vermont, so I guess it makes sense to start them young! Good luck! haha@@eightwheeladventures

haha ya, i need to get another gopro so I can stop taking videos with my phone, the boys are starting to get too fast for me to ride one handed and film with my phone.

@@CKnudsen1984Yeah its tough to film 1 handed and keep up. We have a pair of gopros and are seriously considering getting at least 1 more of something. Kinda leaning towards an Insta360 for the 360 options. They seem kinda awesome.

No clue what tires were on this bike? I run Pirelli scorpion MX extra X now (because they're so cheap and i'm not that good that it will make a huge difference). I did have a set of Pirelli Scorpion MX32 before these and they were great tires, but the front tire on both the MX32 and the MX Extra X seem to wear out very quickly (they lose the side knobs after like 10 hours, the rears seem to last for at least 20 hours, if not 30 hours).

I think those might have been pirelli scorpions also, or dunlops, i can't remember haha.

Sometimes it's slightly louder on a cold start up, but not loud enough to be obnoxious or make everyone around stare at you (and if you're talking about at a stop light when it stops and starts up again, then i wouldn't say it's hardly noticeable at all). After a year with it, I still really like the flowfx. Gives it just enough rumble to know you have a hemi, but doesn't bug the neighbors, or my wife and three kids under 10 (my 64 year old mother did say it was a bit loud recently while riding in it, but other than that no complaints). I wouldn't say there is any drone on the highway, and unless you really try to make it loud by getting the truck to downshift or really getting on it, it just makes the truck sound like it should have sounded when it came from the factory in my opinion. Now, if i was still 25 yrs old and was going to car shows, then i would definitely get something louder, but at this stage of my life, with not wanting to piss neighbors off anymore than i already do with dirtbikes, then I think it's the perfect muffler.

Hardly any, and most of the time none. If you want to get it to shift down on a little downhill or somewhere similar you can get a little more noise out of the exhaust (I also have the etorque so i'm not sure if that holds the truck back more on downshifts than a normal non-etorque would?), but at normal rpms cruising down the road, no drone that I notice. I am happy with it. Keeps the family happy with they ride in it, doesn't piss off the neighbors too much, and it still sounds like the truck should have sounded from the factory.

I do however still ride with the kid who bought it. He rode it all summer and loved it.

@@CKnudsen1984 how do you like them? Have you tried regular step on before?

I have ridden these probably 10 times, and I really like them. They ride the same as strapped bindings, great response and feel, my foot feels tight in the boots and bindings, no issues. And I did recently go back to a strapped binding for one powder day, and definitely missed the ability to just get off the lift, step in, and be gone. Always makes me smile when I beat a skier to the trailhead after getting off the lift, haha. They get a lot of attention in the lift lines as well, have caught several people looking curiously as to where my straps are, or look on in amazement when I step in and am gone down the trail before they realize what's going on haha. I would definitely recommend them for resort riding off a chair lift. I have also ridden them a few times in the woods and more backcountry stuff, and even in several feet of deep powder I was able to get in and out of them just as easily as I would a strapped binding.

Is it good for beginner-intermediate rider?
