The prosecutor dismissed charges against the person responsible after they gave a full confession as well as all of the evidence they had. His reason for dismissing charges against the person was because there “wasn’t enough evidence”. It’s been almost 4 years since the incident and almost every night I think about what happened and how the prosecutor chose to protect the person responsible instead of protecting me and getting closure in the incident. I think about my daughter and how the prosecutor would’ve treated the case if it was a friend or relative of his. Michigan state police and washtenaw county prosecution is corrupt as can be. I want the person who did this, and the people who covered it up to be held accountable.
