Oh Heidi... tomato, tomahto... you are adorable and I just love spending time with you 💕 Thanks for the tips for colorwork socks, I have the same issues. One other technique is to knit the color section inside out, which naturally makes the floats longer. Keep up the great work 👍

About the crochet shawl - you seem like you don’t really like how the yarn is looking in the shawl - I think you said looking at it was nauseating 😂 I think maybe you should save that yarn for something else (it’s a gorgeous green) and look for a gradient yarn like in the pattern photo!
