Using the LaserPecker LP4 to Engrave Photos on Slate Coasters
In this video we are engraving photos on slate using the 1064nm mode of the LP4. These make a fantastic gift for friends and family.
Photos have been inverted and the slate has been treated with a varnish before engraving.

The material is a coated Mdf. The image is inverted in this example and then engraved.

Hi sorry we missed your comment. You will want to use the 4k setting and 100 power. Depth will depend on the black level you need on the metal. For brass you should be able to get dark engravings using the 2k setting.
Would love to see your setting 👀
For this we used the 4k setting. I believe it was on 100 power and depth at 50 (vary depending on blackness required) 😊

Most materials and metals. Glass will need treated before engraving.

Hi Alex. Max engraving area without the slide extension is 160x120mm
