Have you sorted my K 1300 has started to leak a couple of days ago. Have you the vacuum tool to bleed cooling system and compressor

So how did you cure the oil leak in the end.

Hi a BMW independent locally said he doesn’t use the vacuum just bleeds normally 😮 but then he does this stuff all the time

I saw on a forum that someone took a couple of mm off the top of the guide leak stopped ! I have an oil leak but not sure exactly the area but took fairing panel off and it is down that side. I’ll wash it down tomorrow then take for a spin as another post said it wouldn’t leak on idle. What you do in the end.

I machined 3mm off the lobe in the rocker cover. Hopefully that was the right thing to do. Great video showing the problem.

164 whp stock is dead bullshit. Dyno know nothing but only assume 5 to 20% correction factors. Crank is simple true hp is 178hp. It stay in 150's whp range. 165+ whp come with slip on exhaust and tuned. Full stock is always bullshit whp range from 148 to 164whp. No way. Go for 15% drive train loss. 178-15%=151whp is around good results. But crank is true hp than wheel hp dyno assumes is zero accurate. Their own think it's true assumed and perfect true wheel hp. Nope. Crank hp that's it.

One wonders if the head wasn't skimmed at some point?

Yup, dyno'd at 154 bhp at the rear wheel, recently refreshed the engine with new rings, now makes 165 at the rear wheel!

If you mean the blinking. It comes from the way crt monitors refresh the screen. Your brain smooths it out and you don't notice it, but it's apparent in videos due to the capture rate being out of sync with the refresh rate. LCDs don't have this effect because of progressive scanning, constant illumination, and pixel transition latency.

When you measure BHP on a dyno, the measurement is taken at the wheel, then you can work out the crank power by doing the rolling resistance of the engine gearbox on the run down, approx 20-25 hp normally lost in the box, so crank is gona be 190 BHP+ in this case although we didn't work it out.

how is it bhp at the wheel i thought bhp was at the flywheel oh well nice bike
