    Hi witching frm india..im snr citizen n.diabetic got shoulder impingement since 4 mths gone to 4 physiotherapist my rom has improved recently consulted an orthopedic dr who took xrays of both shoulders n said i hv got shoulder impingement he has gvn me muscle relaxants for 10 days n muscle building collagen peptides tables for 1 mth..will be visiting a 5th physiotherapist suggested by him

    I heard somewhere years ago that the best way to care for a torn Achilles is to stay off of it? I’d rather try what you’re showing here but would love your thoughts on my comment before doing these stretches. Thanks for posting the video!

      Sherri it can depend on. How long ago you tore the Achilles. To help it heal properly you need to be doing something. This exercise is great! Any doubts you are best to see a healthcare professional who can assess which stage of healing you are at

      @@The10XPhysiochannel Hi, thank you for your response. It happened 2 days ago. I’ve been trying to stay off of it but I found your video so I’m going to give it a try. I’ll let you know how it goes for me. I actually tore it doing foot pumps. I had a total hip replacement on Thursday and they told me to do them to keep from getting blood clots. Today is Sunday so as soon as I’m able, I’ll try the stretches. Thank you!

      Sounds like you may have a litte too much muscle tightness. My advice would be to go and see a back pain specialist who will get to the root cause of the problem.

      my advice would then be to see a specialist therapist who will be able to further advise you on what to do next

    I've heard that static stretching immediately before a run is no longer recommended. When and how often would you suggest incorporating some form of S&C into a training week?

      Ian, that's right static stretching immediately before running is no longer recommended, dynamic stretching is more important. As for S&C, you should be aiming to do some S&C 2-3 times per week. I completely understand that it is difficult as there are only so many hours in the week
