The video provides an update on the latest changes to Toolpath, focusing on key improvements to various tabs in the interface.
Summary Tab: Now models stock relative to the part instead of the work coordinate system, helping to visualize the material needed. The Tool Tab shows which tools from your library will be used and whether the part is fully machinable with those tools.
Setups and Strategy Tabs: The Setups Tab allows users to see which features are machined in each setup, ensuring a rational approach. The new Strategy Tab shows the operations defined for the part, including the chosen cutting presets and toolpaths.
Estimates and Integration: The Estimates Tab helps manipulate costs and quantities, while a final step allows for easy integration with Fusion 360, simplifying the transfer of the program with a unique code.

Drag & Drop plus E-mail upload to Toolpath

Hey friends, in this video I hope to give you a transparent update on what we've been working on at Toolpath. We've made it easier to get data into the system by allowing drag and drop file uploads. I also address some questions and feedback we received. One important change is that we've updated the machining process for a specific part based on feedback. I also discuss the meaning of the 100%...
Overview of Toolpath Automation workflow

As machinist we have all been shown the "next best CAM". a dozen times. We can all smell BS from a mile away. My intent here is not to play games and hide the calculation times or pretend the product is something it isn't yet. Hopefully I have transparently shared what we do and don't do in this video. At the end of the day, my goal for this company to establish and maintain trust with the mach...

Ooh, exciting. Trying it out I keep getting a "The program you try to pull into fusion is too old. Please upload the part again and try pulling it into fusion" error.

Is it a part you uploaded today or one you uploaded in the past? The workflow will only work on parts that where uploaded after the update today. Sorry for the confusion.

@pdxcnc we just added a re-calculate button to toolpath so that you can prepare past parts to pull the results into Fusion without needing to upload them again.

The deviation needs to be shown graphically. I want the ability to click in the graphics window where it deviates so I can modify directly from there.

@@JonBanquer good feedback. The team is working on some graphical views of the deviations now. I’ll pass this feedback along!

Great video, Al. You're a natural in front of the camera! I look forward to following your journey with Toolpath.

This is the continuation of what Featurecam and CAMWorks started. To do what you are showing, and do it properly, legacy CAM would need an all new architecture. Because this is the case, and because new software tools including Open Source GitHub now exist, this is why almost every small, independent CAM company sold out to a large conglomerate. Combine your bidding first approach with a much better way to manage over a hundred toolpaths than using a single tree, and you have given CAM users tools that will radically increase their bottom line. What you are showing is the true start of CAM reimagined. If I were to make a comparison, it's as revolutionary as Federated computing is.
