Indian chess prodigies GM Praggnanandhaa and GM Vaishali Ramesh Babu are the first Indian brother-sister Grandmasters. They are in Toronto to play in the Candidates tournament. They and their mom take some time out to speak with me. #fidecandidates #praggnanandhaa #chess
Don't underestimate Tamil people's 😎
Nice interview. Hope you will interview them (especially their mom) more in the future!
Great questions asked!
He's only 2 years older to me
Nice questions. Nice of the interviewer to interview their mother in Tamil (probably knowing that she is not comfortable in English?). Very mature young GMs. Love them all. They (and others) represent India well.
Great job Mom, with children like Pragg and Vaishali!
Her coming second in the Candidates 2024 is commendable, considering that she is a young mother. This gives hope for the present and the future. Best wishes to her.
Koneru Humpy, after her prodigal talent, has been disappointing. Her inspiring achievements to Indian women chess is unquestionable. Just saying that even with time, she did not become the best in the world. Of course, the Chinese women are the best, but Koneru did not even dominate the US and European women and got beat when it mattered. Vaishali seems promising like Pragg.

Nice interview! Hope you upload the Vishy one soon!
Coming soon!
Will do shortly
Good to see your channel 👏👏
Thank you
Good job Sudarshan
Thank you very much
Congrats on joint 2nd in candidates Humpy! @Sud Please dont ask questions like she is old. No one talks to Anand like that.
Interviewer is same like Vicky kaushal.
Thanks! :)
Nice interview. I appreciate your commitment of interviewing multiple players. I hope you get more engagement and views.
Thank you
Ms. Koneru Humpi has done great service to women's chess in India.
Lovely ... Pragg "chinna payyan" ... so sweet 😀
If you're seeing this - know your time will come PR! Keep strong faith and joy in your heart - you're destined to do great things!
I needed this thank you
excellent interview.
Prags is very humble ,don't undermine is talent he will bounce back
Nyc interview and TAMIL ❤
Pragg looks so sad. 😢 I can't even imagine how much vidit must be suffering. Considering he wasn't even present at the ceremony but his sister was.
i don't think pragg is that sad tho, most sad is ian, fabi and hikaru becuse more closer you got and lost the more it hurts
He isn't sad
i think she is not a GM yet. she is an IM
She achieved the GM norm last year
She was not awarded the title but she received the norms.
What a stupid game you played against Gukesh just sacrificed 2 pawns and lost against Hikaru, Fabiano caruana but your game was entirely not matching with Fide world cup but their your are free every body left you What you can do but after knowing your caliber Anand screwed you against Gukesh. But you have lots of upcoming Candidates tournament this is not end of tournament so next time come out like Bruce Lee
First try to learn how to communicate rather than teaching GMs how to play chess🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
💯
