    I inherited one of these from my grandfather, mine is marked “WILBERT Cutlery CO.” I have the complete set of tools but the soft leather pouch is a bit worse for ware. I guess we will have to disagree about the function of that tool with the sort of hook I don’t believe that is meant to be a bottle cap remover it looks like some kind of guide like to scribe a line at a set distance? I wish I new for sure maybe more research. Maybe one of your viewers has more information. The concept this multi tool uses is quite interesting because you end up with a narrow/thin tool unlike a swiss army knife with an equivalent amount of tools.

    One heck of a review, especially if you are into copper knives. I pack one for copper's anti-microbial quality, and you know it's always in your pocket because of it's weight.

    Disgusting to see a 'man' with those female nails. That says it all. Everybody loves a Buck....and of course a lefty man with female nails, without any calluses on his soft hands of course is negative. So predictable

    I used the heck out a Buck 102 from 1969 to 1999. The blade was worn down and kind of on the thin side, so my wife surprised me with a new one in December of 1999. It's been my sole fixed blade and it's my hiking/camping/fishing knife with some use out back in the garden. The little woodsman has been as good as the Buck 301 stockman I used for almost as long, and only replaced it with a 303 cadet. I'm 73 now and retired in Georgetown Texas, and do a lot of fishing in my leisure time. The 102 woodsman's a great knife for the outdoors. I don't carry or use anything but a Buck knife. The new Bucks are 420hc with the Paul Boy heat treat. Great stuff!!!!

    The usual price for those are 50 dollars canadian, so even tho (well I think it feels way better than the 311) it feels a lot better it has a quite higher price.

    • @todaysinsanity1241
      @todaysinsanity1241 Місяць тому

      The price is technically around that 50$ price point but I don't think I've seen it above 30 at my local Canadian tire in the past year as for feel I agree in some ways and disagree in others mostly because to me the 311 feels more modern and fun whereas the 190 feels like a traditional with a lock and aluminum handles.

    Just got it! Perfect fit for my size hands and it looks like it's gonna be in my fixed blade rotation carry from now on. Btw, I added a length of paracord to it and carry it in the Perrin rip cord style from my front pocket. Great knife and great review! Subscribed too...

    It is not a Meh product. I will put mine up against a Buck 119 any day. This Bowie might not be a traditional pattern, but it will hold up to the abuse of bushcrafting better than the Buck 119. The steel is perfectly fine. Holds an edge and is designed more for Bushcrafting and fighting then the Buck. The Buck 119 is a hunting blade. Works fairly well for Combat fighting, but there are better Combat fighting knives on the market.

    I have collected over 70 buck 110 s ,dating back from 1964 up to now ,it is one of the best made lock back knives ever produced I dont understand what you are trying to say it's the bolsters and liners are made in one piece ,for durability ,the wood handles are called HANDLES ,I've carried a 110 that was made in the late 1960s for 40 years ,never had any rust or pits on that knife ,so I dont know what you you are getting at ,by the way if you are a man cut your nails ,and learn more about knives.

    They are what they are... you can call them whatever you want... if you refer to them as bosters and scale folks will consider that proper. If you use your words they will think of you as beta male girlieboy. When they see your finger nails and hear you smack your lips they will know you are...this generation worry about verbiage too much anyways.
