I starting at 1 January at a Big Brand Gas Station and will switching between Day and Night Shift. We have in Germany a Window that is only for the Night. The Store gets locked so nobody can come in for Safety Reasons in the Night, so the people go at the Window what is secured with Bullet Proof Glas and they can say there what they want from the store and we get them this. Its so nice to see what the difference is between German and American Gas Stations. Thank you for this Videos and have a Great Day/Night :)

    I've been working at speedway for five months. The cappuccino machine and the cheese is almost exactly the same as is the soda machine boxes. I don't use a cutter I just punch it and rip the box open. The door at our store doesn't make a loud noise when someone comes in so have to always been vigilant and check frequently when someone comes in. Our checklist is much longer now. I lost my job that was my main source of income then on the quickness and out of desperation just to be in the positives on all of my bills, I snagged a fulltime Gas Clerk job at an AM PM/Gas station⛽. 😒🤔😐 Needless to say I have worked/had alot of terrible jobs in my life I knew Immediately I needed to find a better job. Not knocking anyone who decides to work at a Gas Station, but the Lottery and scratcher customers are the worst. I was even more worried at this Gas Station I worked at only for 2 weeks i was suppose to be a graveyard shift 10pm to 6am clerk I disliked that they don't close their doors late at night the inside stays open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. So I said to myself Nah! And I quit right after finding a better job. #BlueCollar god bless. I hope everyone finds a jobs they love and can hold onto.

    Is this a good job for partime like evenings for a 16 year old? I'm wanting to get a job and right now sheets seems to be the only place paying 11$ an hour and I want to try having my first job however how do you get things done on the sheet if you're constantly having people coming in? Isn't there other people that do register and is there as well besides you? Personally as well I have bad anxiety and I'm not sure if it would be a good job, and considering I have stomach issues (pains, bathroom, ect) but they can't stop you from going to the restroom if you need to? I'm wanting one in the evening for part time as well mainly because I sleep alot during the day and I'm constantly awake at night

    • @youngfamily9629
      @youngfamily9629 3 роки тому

      You have to be able to do multitasking. I had someone there with me for my first hour. At that time I would get as much done as I could. I would do the jobs like clean bathrooms and what not while I had someone at the register. Then some nights were slower than others. I would get done so early and just be able to focus on my customers. When it was I just took my best judgment and decided when to do certain things. Once you do it for a month or two you get into a routine and it makes for a good first time job. This is 3rd shift. All other shifts(especially morning) always has someone there with you.

      @@youngfamily9629 ah thank you for replying! Also what do you do about cigars, cigarettes, and alcohol? Does someone else have to ring them up since you're not 21 or are you able to ring them up for the person?

      @@ryannal3604 You're very welcome and I'm not sure what the law or rule is for that now. When I worked here 4 years ago and if you weren't 21 then someone else had to ring it up.
