For me the easiest way to beat flukemarm was to pogo her a bunch of times with dream shield and thorns of agony equipped. I beat her in 5 seconds that way

These walkthroughs are brilliantly effective. Please remove that intro though, it’s extra annoying when you’re already frustrated.

Mostly die at his first phase. The hardest part to avoid is the dash forward move for me, even though it is just a simple move (yeah I am bad at pogoing). Luckily I beat him at second time I got him in second phase. Probably it is my 20 th try to finally beat him. Thanks God I dont deal with that annoying walk back any longer.

If you have the dreamshield, I highly recommend it for this battle. It completely nullified the boomerangs on some go arounds and allowed me to heal completely unharmed. It's a close enough quarters battle as well that the shield is going to get a lot of strikes in, but you'll still be able to get enough hits to gather soul for yourself as well.

This boss is making me wanna quit the game, I've died twice in all 5 previous areas combined, this guy has killed me 20+ times and I wanna fking scream. He didn't do his fake out ground slam once in this video, it's the ONLY F*CKING ATTACK HE DOES TO ME

This video came out 5 years ago, and I’ve recently downloaded the game to give it a try. Ran into this boss and I genuinely think it’s bugged or glitched. I’ve practiced the dodge mechanic multiple times, killed all the surrounding enemies perfectly, and yet can’t even land significant damage on the boss (other than the sneak deathblow). I’m fed up with practicing and routinely dying and not gaining any value. Kinda sucks since the game seemed so cool. Unfortunate.

Its a pretty fun boss imo but genuinely why when you lose all of your lives you start back from act 1??? Genuinely the second only flaw (first being the spider boss) of this game

so basically nosk took me more times to beat than the hollow knight. I died 3 times to hollow knight beating him yesterday, today 10 times to beat Nosk ( 9 without the video )

For anyone in '24 or '25 still struggling with this, go back to the starting area and farm Head Flail shards from the Dullahammer enemies until you reach grade 9. Upgrade it at Johannes as much as you can (I got to rank 4 before this fight) and just pummel the boss with your upgraded flail. Buy mana pots of you need, but this method will trivialize the fight. I spent about 30 minutes farming the shards.

The amount of time i died to jumping into empty air to dodge and a new ghost spawning exactly where i am in the air. I got a slight spoiler about how you need to beat broken vessel to get monarch wings and when i saw bubbles going out of his corpse, i assume i need to beat him in the dream to get monarch wings😂😂 and thus commence my 3 day long battle with normal white abilities, 1 time upgrade nail, and my most reliable thorns, quick slash, and long slash charm
