Robin Gibb was definitely the best singer here I was shocked when he died 3 years after this
They don’t even credit the song writer!
great song -great artists
I missed the BEE GEES... their soulful vioces will live forever. They will be remembered.. GOD bless them...
My brother went to the Falklands in 1982 I miss him so much much it hurts everyday 😢
WHAT ABOUT THE THOUSANDS OF VETERANS LIVING ON THE STREETS .... PROVE THAT YOU REMEMBER THEM BUT NOT JUST THE DECEASED THE LIVING TOO .. FORMER 17th 21st LANCER
My son has mental health issues, he is a veteran. It is so sad that our troops and veteran's are suffering so much.
Stop putting down your military dogs and some of your police dogs. They helped so much and your thank you is to put them diown. its a shame . Not even in Greece they are so disgusting like you.
How do I buy/get the music / lyrics for this song to teach my students?
This isn't the version I remember, can't find the version with a soloist boy singing that was really beautiful anyone know what this was called?
so proud to have been part of this
Tears streaming down my face rememberin old friends who didn't come home well done to each of you!

Robin Gibb...Love!
We will remember them. Lest we forget. God bless them all.
Should've been number one if TV & Radio BBC had bothered to help promote all the talent & hard work involved here.
No songwriter credits either!

Who's we? Cause from what I can see the only people honoring our fallen are their loved ones and other Vets. Unemployment among Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans is twice as high as it for their civilian counterparts. If the American people don't care about the ones who made it home, than they're definitely not gonna give a shit about the ones who aren't even here anymore. Just to be clear, you're not a supporter of our troops just because you put a SUPPORT THE TROOPS bumper sticker on your car. Also, saying you want to hire Veterans because they're disciplined, hard working, and loyal, is clearly a line of bullshit when you offer them the same wages as as lazy, disrespectful, 20 year old, part time, junior college student. If you're shaking your head while reading this, take a deep breath and really think about something. What was it you specifically did to help a Veteran? Was it a handshake, a Thank You, maybe both??? You nave have shown them respect or thanked them, but it's doubtful you helped them. Recently America found out Veterans are dying while on wait lists to see a VA Doctor. Where are the protests? Where are the petitions? Where??? This has been a long, stress relieving, rant, but people need to know the truth. Less than 2% of the entire population has volunteered to serve in the military over the past 15 years. The only thing more pathetic than that statistic is America's unwillingness to help such a tiny percentage of their bravest citizens.
Teddy O You need to better educate yourself before posting a comment full of falsehoods.
Okay Mr. Brawler, I educated myself. I'm a former Marine Grunt and Iraq War Veteran living just outside NYC. I volunteer for 3 different Veterans outreach programs, which keep me very busy. This week I was assigned to contact 3 homeless Veterans who called us for help. You wanna know what I found out from them? They all contacted the VA weeks before going homeless. The manager of homeless services told them the VA can only offer a place for them to sleep. The veteran only!!! Their families had to seek help elsewhere!!! Obviously all 3 Veterans were more concerned for their families than themselves, but the news that the VA has nothing to offer their wives and children caused 2 of the 3 Vets to lose their shit. In a fit of rage they started screaming about how this is possible and the VA is a fucking joke, etc, etc. They were both escorted off the VA campus and told to never come back. I found all of them sleeping in their cars, which hadn't moved for weeks cause they have no gas $$$. Their wives and kids were living with friends and families. They had been to several charities who receive grants from the gov to help homeless Vets, but they made too much $$$ to qualify for assistance. None of this is bullshit!!! I learn shit like this everyday!!! Maybe you live in a part of America that does treat Vets with respect, but here it's just not like that. Out of sight, out of mind, is most people's attitude. In NYC, nearly 50% of the homeless people are Veterans. Is this enough education for you Mr. Brawler???
It's words you typed. Does not mean any of it is real.
Mr. Brawler, You're obviously a big supporter of Veterans, yet you refuse to acknowledge the information I'm passing on to you. Your last reply insinuated I could be lying, so I ask you, how can you claim to be a supporter of Vets when you just called me (A Veteran) a liar??? A simple google search will prove I'm telling you the truth. The 3 main issues plaguing thousands of Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans are homelessness, unemployment, and suicide. Google any of them and see for yourself. Are you familiar with the VA Healthcare scandal that occurred in Arizona last year? 50 Veterans died while on a waiting list to see a VA doctor. The news reported on it for about a week, then the story disappeared. There were no civilian protests where the people expressed their disgust over the scandal. Does that sound like a society who respects and supports their Veterans??? I'm not saying every American hates Veterans, because that's simply not true. It's more like basic neglect and that neglect is only gonna get worse as the Veteran population becomes smaller and smaller. Our WW2 and Korean War Vets are nearly all gone and our Vietnam Vets will soon follow. Less than 2% of the population has served since 2000 and less than 1% is currently serving. When a country of 300+ million cannot meet the needs of such a tiny (but most deserved) percentage of its people, it's time to look in the mirror. All this is also just a Google search away. At this time, the best thing anyone can do for our Veterans is to learn the truth and share it with anyone who'll listen. Below, I've attached an online article I found within 2 minutes. If you truly respect Vets and wanna help them, take some time to research the things I mentioned. I'm a disabled Veteran and there's nothing I wouldn't do to help my brothers. If nothing else, please don't accuse me of lying again. www.nationalhomeless.org/factsheets/veterans.html
This is truly amazing , as a musician it is very humbling to know that we have the power to deliver such a strong message through music .....absolutely brilliant .

I know that this is a "British", if you will, song, but this song stands for all countries troops that have given their all for what they believed in. I'm proud to be an American. Just as each and everyone should be proud of their own country. This is to those who have fallen defending their countries, or helping defend one anothers. We will remember them.
