I got a 8th Gen coupe SI and it’s the most uncomfortable engine to work on.
Yeah, that adhesive isn’t normal. Probably needs another plastic piece. Mines has a little play. The way you did is completely fine with the washer line. No biggie. I never replaced the middle bolt. The coupes have the middle bolt too under the cowl. I didn’t put mines back in either. Get use to taking the cowl and windshield wipers off, as well as the bumper😂😂😂
Lol this is reassuring to hear. Glad I'm not the only one winging it. I've taken the bumper off a few times already mainly to replace the old crusty headlights. The bolts under the headlights are also a pain. I wish there was more room to work with but I that's just how it is...
@ I understand that, nothing like an extra set of hands and extra brain. Hit a homie up for help. I’ve got big bear hands so the homie was able to reach in there. Also, if you want power go turbo, don’t waste your money on fbo. 💯
Replacing such a gasket is not very complicated
Honestly yeah I agree it's not a very difficult job. I think my biggest challenge(s) was the fact this was my first time doing it and the 9th gen Civic being more cramped than some of the tutorials I watched of people working on an Accord/TSX. Either way it was a good learning opportunity for me!
