@@srpyle had to think about it a little, I'm a Superman fan, so if you have a silver age Superman issue around to read it would be awesome, I've been reading Plastic Man too and it would be nice to see one of his tales here, maybe Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane or early silver age Green Lantern, some of his stories are really whacky, when he turns Kalmaku into a seagull or the first appearance of the Shark! If you could do any of these I'd be glad to watch it, though I'm new to the channel, I'll watch more stuff to see the characters you're interested in and give better suggestions, thanks for asking :)

I think they were dark and brooding to match Janson's incredible inks. Janson really puts his stamp on the art in this issue. I would be curious to see how Dark Horse reprinted this, as like with Conan, I think they recolored everything on slick paper. Have to track those down!

Hi Scott, it looks really good. The colors are still beautiful. Sometimes, some issues from Marvel of the 1970's give muddy colors today. Especially the John Byrne's run on Superman. I much prefer the recent HC edition.

Of course the rest of the creative team absolutely knocked the ball out of the park in their respective roles. Listening to the crisp dialogue was an instant reminder of just why this book was a DC bestseller and why it easily held it own against anything Marvel was publishing at the time including the Uncanny X-Men.
