Yes, because although it's not as good as Batman and Batman Returns, Forever is still a damned fine superhero action flick. Some of the best sequences and jokes of the series are in Forever and it actually focuses more on Batman.

Just cause it happened in the comics doesn't mean it's a good idea. There's plenty of shit storylines in comics. I didn't like that infamous iron man story. They did this BS already with Kang and killed him off revealing there's different variants so there's no threat if another one is out there. So why should we care? They did the same in Dr strange MOM and brought in different variants and killed them off to. Like you said they did the same thing with Wandavision and pissed off fans for calling Evan Peters quicksilver and retconning it. Why should we care if their just gonna keep bringing in different variants of the same or other characters? Why would the audience take this villain seriously if there gonna do multiple variants of him. If they wanted to do an evil iron man they could've just done superior iron man.

I think people's opinions of these movies depends on how old you were when you first saw them. I was in my 20s for Returns, Forever and Batman and Robin. I wasn't into the kid friendly aspect of Batman. Plus the sets and score just didn't do it for me
