This video was taken a few months back when there was mackerel, herring and pogy all throughout the east end. I expected heavy blitzing and big fish, but we had to work hard for our Striped Bass this weekend.

This was the last stretch of good Striped Bass and Bluefish fishing at the Cape Cod Canal for me and the boys for Season 2023. The bite continues into late November at the Cape Cod Canal. Even though, the cows have left, these schoolies/slots are here in abundance. You just need to have the right jig for the job. @@ReelOffishalAngling I fish by seagull beach part of the canal but I also fish some of the small beaches and other spots in the west Yarmouth area I just went last weekend and caught a bunch of northern kingfish snapper bluefish and some small yellow tails
Hi i want to go to cape cod canal for fishing can you please tell me that is september is good time to catch fish if yes what can be the appropriate time and what kind of baits are working now??
I’m no pro fisherman when it come to the canal I just listen to the others guys on what they say but September is in the late season for stripers if you are looking for them but now there’s a lot of bluefish coming it. The time you should be at the canal to fish is 3-8 am in the morning anytime after that it gets kinda dead.

What's the best time to hit the canal I know striper start running in may.iv been trying to take My son stripper fishing for the last few years and we never catch shit would love to try and bring him here and hopefully finally catch something

Went to the canal yesterday at the jetty near Scusset Beach and stayed there from 6am to like 2pm without a single bite but still somehow managed to lose 7 lures by getting snagged. Left there and went to Canal Bait and Tackle brought a few more lures and went to the other side of where I was before to not have a single bite for another 2 hours. Felt like there was no fish left in the ocean but I'm pretty sure the birds and the 2 seals I saw were luckier than me in catching fish lol

I live on the canal and last weekend there was 34 people in one day fishing without licenses. Massachusetts needs to step it up, that exposed a major problem we have right now

@@TeknoMediumsParanormal1111 no my neighbor is mass wildlife officer. It is a major problem when we have people taking Mass amounts of fish out of the water and it is not regulated

My rod should be at bass pro to pick up this week.
