Hi, and thank you for your kind comment and compliment about teachers . With my left over paint I tend to tell myself that it is mainly water that I am disgarding. However, I also cover my diluted paint palette with clingfilm to use another day, or splash them all on to a fresh piece of watercolour paper to create an abstract background for a future painting!

At times many of us feel like this. I simply suggest to not 'paint a picture' for a while, instead have relaxation and fun with colours and patterns - splash it on, don't be too serious!

@@hughtempletonwatercolours you're very welcome. The praise is much deserved. I believe your castle tutorial is my favorite. It is quite the coincidence that it is one I am working on now. I have been practicing drawing a few different castles with a few extra additions today until I finally settled on one I am happy with. I noticed your reply as I logged in to begin following your tutorial to paint. I do hope you continue to create content. I will look forward to watching for when they are released. @@hughtempletonwatercolours I apologize, but one last word that I forgot to mention. I belive that you should seriously consider creating tutorials on Skillshare. With your calming voice and positive advice I know that you would become quite popular as a content creator on that platform. I purchased a yearly subscription to it and am still struggling with even their "basic" teachers. I learned more from you in the past week than I have from several months of watching others. I plan on giving my mother the painting I have followed from your house tutorial. So I want to thank you for that once again. That said, I know I have have taken up much of your time, so I will leave it at that and let you get back to doing what you do best. 🙂

I wish to share my life's work with as many people as possible and your encurageagment and advice to consider creating content on Skillshare I will certainly look into! I put in hundreds of hours of work on UA-cam and earn nothing yet, so it would be helpful to at least get a small payment from something like Skillshare which I did not know about. Every best wish with your painting and I am sure your mother will really like your painting gift. .........Hugh

@@hughtempletonwatercolours the best part of Skillshare is for us that paint what you teach to have the opportunity to post pictures of our work so that you can see the results of your hard work! I believe (but don't quote me) is that is pays 5 cents for every minute we watch. I have done the math of individual teachersI have watched adds up very quickly. Lots of artists do that for a living. It's just a thought to look into. Every little bit helps
