Well I disliked your video for two reasons. The first bc your title is misleading. I actually want to refinish as in in re-stain my cane back chairs. You painted and then reupholstered. The second reason I disliked your video is bc you were too thorough. It would have been better when you were removing the nail brads and staples if you first explained what you were going to do then sped it all up in your editing. The video was too long. When people are looking up how to do something and watching a UA-cam video they don’t want to watch a 20 min video. They want 5-6 min videos bc they are probably going to watch several. You could have also made it into several videos by dividing it into steps. Otherwise good job and keep plugging away!

Gorgeous! It does look phenomenal! I love that you made it very ordinary white plastic to something that looks like a antique 17th century French chateau interior picture frame. Good job! Most people paint antique gold frames to grey and white and just plain cheap looking colours.

Do you know who made those chairs? I just got one, and am going to reupholster the seat. Really neat chair, though it has a bead edging that goes in the slot along the top edge. The cloth was never meant to be put all the way down the side. Any idea what they are worth? Thanks.

Let it sit for 10 min then wipe off the excess stain. Sucks that happened on such a big job. That's a lot of work to remove it all and start over.

Well see here she did not wipe down any excess stain so simply said she could have saved herself time and painted the table with some black enamal and that boys and girls is what seperates the men from the ladies and why it is a mans world. Nice try babe but next time pay attention to directions or ASK a man

The finished color will depend on the stain color AND the type of wood you are staining. All in all nice video.

  • @goingforward7823

Does this stain have polyurethane? It's blotchy because you are supposed to rub off the excess (in the direction of the grain) between coats. It isnt paint...
