Great idea! Clinic style training would be really cool. I think the power-point based training is tired. If you're presenting a product in-person, why not have the gear on hand and do it live.

For sure the challenge of professionalism inside the home is key. Every installer has their own style when it comes to setting up their work area. Building a company standard method is the way to go but a challenge when it comes to keeping clean and respecting clients property.

That feeling when you roll into a home for a service call for an AV problem, and the client asks you to change a Panasonic KSU extension number or phone label and you don't have a laptop with an RS232 port with you because they haven't existed in 5 years...

What's your take on showrooms? No joke, we've been all over and talked to a lot of dealers and there are some strong opinions on both sides. Big waste of money vanity project, or valuable sales and training tool?

Just found this channel - great content. Currently converting everything from Control4 to Josh in my system (18 zones audio, 10 zones video, etc). So far so good. Only issues at present are integration with StormAudio processors and some advanced features to trigger Kaleidescape scenes similar or better to those with C4 Kaleidescape drivers I use/setup in Home Composer. Going back to watch and learn more on your chennel!
